Dr. Rajesh Chandubhai Patel, MD

Twice I had appointments for a sleep study. First time I was called at the last minute to tell me it had been cancelled due to my insurance not responding. Second time I showed up and was told my paperwork showed I was scheduled for that night but they didn't have me on the schedule. Dr. Patel spends very little time with his patients. I felt like it was quantity of appointments versus quality of office visit.

Will never EVER visit this man again. He is full of preconceived notions and his treatment of me was literally life threatening. His bedside manner is misogynistic at best and he has no compassion whatsoever that I ever observed.

I feel Dr. Patel, assumes to much.. When someone is couching and spitting up white stuff, doesn't mean everyone smokes....After all I have been to some of the best Dr. In the south ...and had sleep studies ....many done and I have never had a Dr. Assume anything except him...

I will not recommend Dayton Respiratory Center to anybody. Their system for billing is a joke. Bills are paid, they receive the checks, then bill again.

I was surprised that he won't let you continue with your original o2 company he insists you use hooks pharmacy. Is he part owner? Not satisfied

Very professional mannerisms, and knowledgeable in his fields, as well as their interactions with other specialties. Instrumental in correctly diagnosing and treating my sleep apnea, with major benefits for my heart problems.

Dr. Patel is an outstanding physician. He is very knowledgeable in his field, and ,compasionate to all of his patients.He answered all of my questions and concerns relating to my illness, and continues to follow up with me.

Dr. Patel is subpar as far as his position goes. As a young person with pulmonary issues he obviously has little experience dealing with patients who are not senior citizens or severely overweight. His office staff is deplortable-I have never been more poorly treated by such an unprofessional group of people.

My father experienced serious difficulty when Dr. Patel failed to properly chart the change in his prednisone and failed to write complete instructions on the orders. End stage pulmonary fibrosis leaves no margin for error. When his prednisone was QUADRUPLED...yes...quadrupled, with no instruction written either in the chart or on the written prescription for the pharmacist, and then a week later was contacted by Patel's office staff to immediately STOP the medication at this dose and drop back to the original dosage, my father suffered severe set backs. I immediately pulled his records and change pulmonary physcians. Excuses were the primary response I received both from Dr. Patel and his staff coupled with different instructions for the medication. At that point to preserve my father's delicate physical status we made the decision to change pulmonary specialists. Poor communication was a consistent problem for us and when it caused a set back for my father we changed doctors… the same day.
