Dr. Rajesh Janardhanan

Not just an amazing cardiologist, but an amazing human being. He genuinely cares about his patients. I feel incredibly lucky to have come across Dr. J. I am looking forward to executing path forward under his care. He makes me feel comfortable, and explains my situation/case very well.

Dr J is very knowledgeable about POTS and connective tissue disorders. He is extremely thorough and listened to all my concerns.

I moved to Tucson less than a year ago. I am in my late 70s and it was very important to me to find a really good cardiologist because I have some heart issues. So I did a lot of online research and found Dr Janardhanan to be the highest-rated cardiologist by patients. Fortunately, he was still able to accept me as a new patient. I saw him for just the 2nd time yesterday to go over the results of some tests. I was, of course nervous to hear the results but he quickly put me at ease with his sense of humor. Then he proceeded to clearly explain to me the condition of my heart and answered all my questions patiently. He was very encouraging and positive and knowledgeable that I found that visit with him to be one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had with a medical professional. I feel very fortunate and thankful to have found such a top-notch cardiologist.

Dr J has the best bedside manner. He genuinely cares about his patients and staff. I immediately felt comfortable asking questions and he spent time with me ensuring I understood him. He listened to me. Thank you, Dr J for being amazing!

Dr. J and his team of professionals excel for me in all critical areas: careful listening, incorporating what I have to say with the test results in front of them, prompt follow-up on scheduling and test prep, easy to work with, and all delivered with a sense of genuine care. And they use the latest in medical technology and equipment. So glad Dr. J is my doctor for something so important as my heart.

"Dr.J" was recommended to me by my former cardiologist in Oregon. I was fortunate to have gone from one excellent, knowledgeable, personal physician to another. Dr. J. not only has extensive, up-to-date experience and knowledge of his field but he also has common sense, a sense of humor and great people skills. I have been seeing him since Sept. 2020 and highly recommend him.

When I searched for a cardiologist, Dr. Janardhanan was highly recommended and had many five-star reviews. After three years with "Dr. J," I am mystified as to why he received such high marks as I would not even give him one-star (although I had to do so for this review). He always kept me waiting one and a half hours or more. In three annual visits, he never once listened to my heart with a stethoscope, despite my asking him to do so. Instead, he ordered unnecessary echocardiograms — one each year. If I'd had symptoms necessitating such tests, his request would be understandable, but I never did. I so wish Dr. J had lived up to his rave reviews, but for me he was actually a five-star disappointment in all respects.

Dr. Rajesh Janardhanan (Dr. J) has been an absolute answered prayer for my husband and me, both. I have been having problems with my blood pressure and heart rate, for years, now. Doctors have been stumped, because I eat clean and exercise, regularly. Dr. J ordered a series of tests and assured us he reads all of the results, himself. He discovered my heart is producing a lot of plaque, and there could be some blockages. We will have a procedure done shortly, to see. My husband and I both feel we have found not only a wonderful doctor, but an exceptional physician who truly cares for his patients. Dr. J texted me that night to make sure I was not too overwhelmed or worried, and to personally connect us with the surgeon. If Dr. J should move elsewhere, we will follow him, wherever he goes. To find a doctor who is exceptionally brilliant is one thing. But to also find a doctor with a bedside manner who genuinely cares for his patients and wants to provide the best life for them, is a… gift from God. We are absolutely certain Dr. J is the best cardiologist we have encountered, and we feel so extremely fortunate to be under his care.

Dr J is the absolute best doctor I’ve ever seen. He takes his time and explains everything! He actually cares for his patients and that makes a huge difference. Thank you for everything Dr. J ! -The patient that made you work extra hard :)
