I was referred to him by my family physician. At time of referral she said he is the best pulmonologist. After seeing him I would say he is the best and I thanks my family physician for referring me to him. I was having problem for 3 yrs and after seeing him for the first time I felt much better. Met the expectations.

Doctor that u can trust and the doctor that cares.

His office is very busy, the waiting time have increased from before. But he actually spends time and its worth seeing him. In one or two visit he will fix the problems Most I liked about him is honesty, caring and bed side manner

Dr. Shah was working at Tampa Bay Pulmonary Medicine 402 Noland Dr. , he left in 2014. He did nothing during my office visit but fill in the information for a Gov. program for which he received $18,000 the previous year. He would get annoyed when I tried to talk to him. He would get sarcastic so I brought my wife with me knowing he would have to be civil. He sent me a certified letter saying that I would have 30 days to get another doctor. I threatened to report him to the state and Medicare, he extended it to 90 days. I refused to leave. I had a CPAP machine for over 5 years and was entitled to a new one and he refused to authorize it, said it was too expensive, he was forced to authorize it after I threatened him. I had a CT scan of my lung s(asbestos) he did not give me the results until my next appointment , he ignored the recommendations in the summary. There was much more, I had never seen a doctor act like him and intended to see it to a conclusion. Finally when I made my next… appointment he was gone and Dr. Ackerman took me as a patient. He is terrific.

I will certainly recommed this doctor. Haven't seen such a simple and caring doctor.

Very good bed side manner. Was suffering from cough for 2 yrs. I saw him and got better in 1 week. Very good overall experience
