Dr Dankner is empathic and knowledgeable. I have recommended to many people and everyone has been pleased with the care received.

Dr Dankner did not take the time to consider why I had the symptom of itching... After three visits and minimal work-up, he diagnosed me with depression and sent me on my way with a script for an anti-depressant. At the urging of my family, I got a second opinion. Thank goodness I did, because my itching was because I had Lymphoma. Had I followed Dr Dankners medical advise 14 years ago... I wouldn't be here today. I only hope, he has gained some empathy and listening skills over the years

Obviously pays very close attention to the latest medical advances. He aggressively treats problems, which with my history is essential.

What I find so impressive about Dr Dankner is he obviously cares. He is the first doctor who asked me to report back with him about how I feel after a few days of treatment.

I had suffered with a low grade fever and productive cough every day for over a year. General MD said I had allergies and gave me inhalers that didn't work. After a bad coughing episode one night, I woke up one morning coughing up blood. I was sent to a specialist, Dr. Dankner. He ordered a chest MRI where they put dye into the lungs via an IV. Finally, a diagnosis - bronchioecstasis. This is a condition after one has many pneumonias and stretching of the avioli. I basically had walking pneumonia all that time. After a month of daily antibiotics, I felt good again. While there is no cure for broncioecstasis, any time I came down with fever/pneumonia-like symptoms, Dr. Dankner put me on strong antibiotics right away. He followed me as a patient for 12 years before I moved away from St Louis. He is a great Dr.!!

Dr. Dankner has provided exceptional care for myself and 3 children. He is gentle and genuinely caring and sincere. He takes time to explain complicated medical terms and conditions without making you feel inferior. He has "held our hand" and walked us thru some really difficult times, as my son almost died from a severe asthma attack. He follows up thru daily phone calls when his patients are sick. He is careful when prescribing medications, considering any possible alternatives. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Dankner!!!
