Dr. Randal Lee Troop, MD

Jul 11, 2026 Dr. Randall Troop or his staff was extremely rude when saying the Doctor did not want to see me. He previously diagnosed a rotator cuff problem requiring surgery. At the time of diagnosis I wasn't sure I wanted to do it. Later I made an appointment to accept his surgery offer. When I showed up for the appointment a staff member told me he didn't want to see me--it was very rudely delivered. I would not recommend him to anyone. Even my pets.

Disappointed today. Was called into his treatment room at eleven. No one came to see me for over an hour. Had to go look for help. Ten minutes later he came in and not even I’m sorry for delay. Put me off. Been seeing him for years. Wait time is getting unacceptable to me Mark B

I came in to see Dr. Troop after being recommended by my GP. I had hurt my knee and wasn't sure how bad it was or how to resolve it. Dr. Troop and his team were efficient in their help and support, but also did so with care and consideration. I felt confident that they would be able to help me diagnose the issue and find a way to resolve it, and they did! In the unfortunate event I am injured again, I know who I'm going to call.

Excellent care, Dr Troop has treated both my frozen shoulder and my torn meniscus. 100% pleased with the outcome, I highly recommend.

Dr Troop and his staff are to notch and arguably the best around. Dr. Troop has done surgery on one of my shoulders and five both of my wife's shoulder surgeries and we have been very satisfied with the care and outcome. Thank you Dr Troop!

Dr. Troop is the best orthopedic in his field. Not only is he the best but the most caring individual in his field. I started having injuries starting when I was 28, and someone highly recommended Dr. Troop to me. Because of my activities throughout my life playing running, softball, flag football, weight lifting, and finally playing tons of soccer, I've had numerous injuries that he has taken care of for me and place me back on the playing field as soon as possible. I’ve had ACL reconstruction on left knee, left knee scoped, right knee scoped, my right quad was torn off my knee and placed back together by the doctor, and finally, my right shoulder was torn entirely and put back together. All done by Dr. Troop, and I, at 48, still active in all sports and activities in my life. Thank you to your staff and you, sir, for putting me back together every time!

I have worked professionally with Dr. Troop and have also been a patient of his. He did my shoulder surgery and I have had no further problems. I have had painful joints which he has treated both orally and with injections. He is kind, compassionate, and a wonderful person as well as a great physician. I very highly recommend him.
