Dr. Randall Raymond Robbins, MD

Once I was involved with TOC, I was treated very professionally. The texted reminders came far enough out from the actual appointment as to be helpful (15 minutes prior doesn’t work for me), 1 day prior DOES. (More on that subject at the end) The staff were both cordial and professional, a fine line at times. Dr. Robbins’ staff was top-notch. Blood draws were all but painless, (always appreciated) and the entire process has gone just like they said it would. Dr. Robbins has 35 years of experience but only one specialty, and it shows. He’s very good at what he does. I’m currently at D+14 days, and am anticipating enjoying painless mobility for a long time to come. Now: texted reminders- Please put WHERE the appointment is to be done. TOC has essentially 3 locations (counting Methodist hosp.) they’re very close together but “time & place” just makes sense, yea? My ONLY suggestion to be better.

Randy Robbins is not only a very experienced and excellent surgeon, he is a compassionate men who treated me as an individual. His PA, Ryan, possesses the same qualities. When several issues negatively affected my first post-op week due to communication problems between Randy's office and the hospital, he took my complaints seriously, and personally addressed them with the hospital staff. He and I later had an open, honest conversation about the subject, after which I felt not only heard, but fulfilled and affirmed with Randy's support as an advocate for future patients, as my words and his subsequent actions had effected changes to improve their experiences. It is not an overstatement to say that for a physician to contemplate and validate a patient's concern and - as the sole individual with the authority to effect change - address those concerns, it is a mightily rare and truly wondrous thing.

Dr. Randall Robbins is an excellent orthopedic doctor. My 2 yr old son broke his tibia and fibula in a fall. Dr Robbins and his staff took us in, evaluated him, took proper imaging and consulted with other orthopedic doctors to design our POC. Not only did they take care of my son, but they met him on his level and treated him with respect and comforted him. They new who we were each and every time we visited and made us feel at home. Bed side manner of him and his entire staff is 5 stars. My son is now out of his cast and doing well. We have regular checkups to monitor growth plates etc. Seamless experience. I know he does not typically treat pediatric patients, but if you have any doubts about where to take your child with an orthopedic injury then don't hesitate to make him your first (or second) pick. - Lee Easley

After the second client physician described him as a "thinking orthopaedic", I asked her what she meant by that term. She said he will not proceed with an operation until he is confident he understands the mechanism of pain or disfunction. I have found that to be true ever since I first went to him in 2011. He is excellent and maintains an excellent staff. He's also kind and wise. I recommend him without reservation.

Dr Robbins very knowledgeable and competent. He explains the condition to you and gives you time to answer. He is willing to give you enough time to talk about you condition. I would recommend Dr Robbins to anyone for orthopedic procedures.

Dr Robbins has taken care several issues for me. When I go to see him or his PA Ryan it’s like sitting down with a friend. They’ve both been very helpful with all of my needs. Always allowing me to decide how far to take the treatment after a thorough but yet simple to understand diagnosis. Everyone in this office is top notch.

Dr. Robbins has treated our family for many years. He is not just our ortho doctor but a long time friend. Dr. Robbins, PA Ryan and the whole staff always provide us excellent treatment and are caring, and friendly.
