Dr. Rank Orion Dawson JR., MD

I was treated for unwanted facial hair removal. Dr.Dawson applied a numbing cream and used a laser to remove the hair. The entire treatment requires 5 visits once a month. Each time I found Dr.Dawson to be very professional. He explained the process and I felt at ease. His receptionist is very courteous. I usually am seen in a timely manner with little wait.

Iwould recommend everyone I know to Dr Dawson and expect that they would be as happy with their outcomes as I was. I would not hesitate to go to him again should the occasion arrise and his skills be needed again.

I'm a quadriplegic, and had developed two serious pressure sores. Dr. Dawson was my surgeon, and he explained the surgery in detail to my husband and me. He also explained how to do effective pressure reliefs and ways to supplement my diet for effective wound healing and prevention. He was very patient, and the surgery went quite well. I would highly recommend Dr. Dawson.

I have gone to Dr. Dawson for several years. He always spends extra time explaining the diagnosis, the procedure, and the after-treatment. Dr. Dawson honestly cares about his patients. I needed emergency attention once a few years ago. He left his dinner table and met me at the hospital. If you do wait a couple of extra minutes in the office, it is because he is taking the time with his current patient to make sure they are not rushed through like most other doctor's offices. They are receiving the high level of care and treatment that I always receive. I highly recommend Dr. Dawson. He practices new world medicine with the old world style of caring for his patients.

So far, I have only had the initial consultation. I found Dr. Dawson to be personable and easy to talk to. He gave me a much more in depth explanation of my situation than my GP was able to provide.

Would not send my dog to him. Botched up my hand after a simple carpal tunel surgey and he said it was fine. Needed 8 weeks of physical therapy.It was not fine. He would not refill Rx for Tylenol with codeine after surgery and intially only ordered 15 pills. Made me MEET him AT the hospital on a SUNDAY afternoon. Who does that? I am not a drug seeker, I am in my 60's, a diabetic and use a walker.

Dr. Dawson was rude and arrogant. He yelled at me whenever I asked a question. All he cared about was being right. Terrible listener. Nastiest doctor I ever met.
