He recommended me for allergy testing and I was told it was covered by insurance. It wasn’t. I was told by some pushy lady, I needed “better lenses” for my cataract surgery so I wouldn’t need glasses any more. My eyesight had never been worse. And for all this, I waited at least over 2 hours for every appointment. After talking to my friends , I came to find out that his practice is known for this type of thing. He’s like a used car salesman with a doctor license

While Dr Miller seems to be a good Dr. the waiting time is extremely long. You will sit in the main waiting room for at least an hour. You then go with a tech and have eye pressures checked and read an eye chart. Now you are sent to a second waiting room. You might be there for another hour. They even come around with a snack tray because they know the wait is long. Dr Miller is a good doctor but may not be worth the wait.

went here because of eye pressure they saw me on emergency basis only gave me eye drops that made my eyes worse, 2 appointments and dropped me, because i was a medicaid patient, why can't it be a real eye doctor for public aid patients, drops were samples, not a real diagnosis, brush me off and never called me for another appointment after i rescheduled, This is not right! I could be going blind, can not afford to go out of town when eye doctors are here in rockford!

The experience was like being on a fast lane assembly line to cataract surgery. He did not want to answer any questions and the sooner you scheduled the surgery the better. He also pushed for the more expensive lens, again not wanting to answer any questions. I was told my cataracts were "moderate". The doctor that did the second opinion said on a scale of 1 to 5 mine are a half. And surgery is definitely not needed at this time. Possibly will not be needed at all depending on how they progress. Get a second opinion!!!
