I had cataract surgery with Dr. Simon a few months ago. He is excellent. Explains procedures and medical information thoroughly and clearly. It's a great office and he is exceptional.

I like many of Dr. Simon's patients, am a "lifer" - he's treated me since I was an infant, and now sees both of my school age kids. He simply has an incredible way of connecting with kids (and grown-ups) as a doctor, and trust me, administering an eye exam is not easy with little ones! He keeps things light with humor, and you can tell he clearly takes his time to find the right solution for each patient... unlike other Drs who can't wait to get you into surgery, or out of their exam room! I have referred him to a number of family, friends and co-workers over the years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Simon since infancy. Even at the age of 11 months, he accurately diagnosed my medical condition, which stayed with me throughout my adulthood (I am now in my 30s). My condition is unique, and I am not sure whether it could have been properly diagnosed by any other doctor. I am truly grateful for all of his time, care and professionalism. Dr. Simon always listens to my concerns and questions, and provides a thorough and detailed response to each. I am at the age where my vision is relatively unchanged and stable, and I am considering laser corrective surgery. I intend on going to Dr. Simon to perform this procedure, as he will account for my condition and help me achieve the desired results. I would trust no other with my vision than Dr. Simon. Simply put, he is the "real thing," which is now a dying breed in Miami - an excellent doctor, diagnostician and surgeon. After so many visits over the years, now my entire family sees him for regular… check-ups. When you are dealing with your eyes, look no further than Dr. Simon.

Extremely knowledgeable

The staff was amazing very friendly and professional. The Doctor was rude, and sarcastic. As I read the other reviews it seems that I'm not the only one that had the same experience with him .

It was easy to get an appt. No wonder, noone wants to go back. Terrible beside manners. He does not care and was in a hurry to get you out.No help at all. I am dissapointed I gave him my initial business. Do not refer him to anyone, not even my worse enemy.

I took my child to Dr. Simon after a recommendation and I was not impressed. My daughter was 16 months old and we had to wait in the waiting room for over 2 hours. At one point the staff told me I couldn't walk around with her! She's 16 months - how do you keep them entertained for 2 hours at a Dr.'s office?Then when we did get to see him, he was gruff, unconcerned and in a hurry. I did not appreciate his bedside manner at all and I was very dissapointed. If I am going to see the best, I don't mind waiting, but he was not the best.Unfortunate and hopefully they will see reviews like this and learn.
