The person that answers the phone and schedules appts was so rude to me that I chose to see another group of Ophthalmologists because the tone of an office or practice is set by the physician and this reflects poorly on him. He either doesnt realize it which isnt good or he allows it.

I was a new patient at this office and was able to get an appointment the very next day for an eye abrasion. This, of course, made me very happy. However, I sat in the waiting room for an hour and 15 minutes until the nurse called me back and took down all my information with her handy little ipad and asked me a bunch of absurd questions that didn't pertain to my eye. Then, they took me to a different waiting room where I sat for another hour and 10 minutes to wait to see the doctor. I would like to say at this point that most of the nurses/receptionists I encountered were very friendly and apologetic for the long wait. When I finally was taken into a room to see the doctor (and wait some more), he came in and I did not even get his full attention. He did not say hello, how are you, what brings you here or acknowledge me at all. He yelled for someone to bring an ipad so he could look at my chart before he even looked in my direction. He was discussing other patients, being interrupted… by nurses coming in and asking questions or handing him an ipad to look it. None of these things had anything to do with me and I'm sorry, but if I'm going to wait two plus hours in your office (& pay for the vist!!!), then I think I deserve your full attention to diagnose my problem. I will not go back to this office.
