I had my sleeve done in 2011 and had a great experience with Dr. Boorse. He listened to me and never made me feel rushed. His warm and confident personality helped me feel so much better about having such a life changing surgery. Highly recommend him!

Excellent experience

Dr. Boorse exceeds his already excellent reputation. He's the first doctor that actually had a real conversation with me about my care plan.

I had complications (infection) after surgery & Dr. Boorse didn't even have the courtesy to follow up with me personally at my appts. I ended up seeing his partner with my problems more than my own primary caregiver.

Dr. Boorse was very professional and seemed to be a good surgeon. He seemed very eager to work with me and do my surgery in a timely manner. His office staff on the other hand, was hard to deal with and not very cooperative at all. I loved Dr. Boorse but in my opinion, I wouldn't waste my $450 on their "program" when other hospitals do not charge a "program fee". For someone who is unemployed, I could have used that $450 elsewhere.

You will probably have to wait a few months before getting an appointment with Dr. Boorse. But it is well worth it. Dr. Boorse did my gastric bypass as well as several of my friends. I can't say enough about him. He is the man!!!
