Dr. Derby basically saved my life in terms of finally giving me a proper diagnosis for my lumbar discs causing me incredible nerve pain. I flew to NYC, Boston and all over the country to finally get my proper diagnosis which I could finally present to my insurance to get a spinal fusion which they denied me for over a decade. With my specific diagnosis it was determined that a lumbar fusion would help me. I finally was then able to have several Levels fused and lessen my nerve and overall pain. Dr. Derby did my discogram. It went very smoothly. He is a kind man. He is also a genius. I am so grateful for doctors like him.

Dr Derby walked out of the examining room on me while I was talking. I found him and his staff very rude and will never return.

Doctor Derby is a wonderful,great and caring doctor.I was nervous the day of my procedure and he had his staff give me something to relax me and made sure my pain level was controlled. Dr Derby explained everything very well. I was a little down and out. I asked what if this does not work and he looked at me and said there are other options for the first time I felt there was hope.
