Dr. Robert Alan Desantis, MD

I used him for 11 years. Biggest mistake of my life. He acted super nice for regular checkups and even ended up treating me for hypothyroidism (the only good thing he did!). When I got pregnant, he was totally different. Hardly saw him throughout the pregnancy. He ignored my husband and acted like he didn't want him there. He induced me at 39 weeks (for no medical reason). If I had known what I know now, I wouldn't have let him. I was having an amazing labor until 9 cm. He claimed there was a prolapsed cord and took me for an emergency c-section WITHOUT MY CONSENT or my husband's. We were not in distress. He then lied in my medical records. My new doctor even agreed that I did not need the c-section. The baby should have been delivered because he was crowning on the way to the operating room. They physically held him in! He was rude and unprofessional after the delivery and in the follow-ups. He refused to answer our questions. He still hasn't released all of my… medical records even though I've made multiple requests. He wants to be the center of attention, and does not care about his patient's emotional well-being. He ruined the birth of my only child by the way he and his staff acted. He's a horrible human being.

Likes to play hero, leaves patient and family in dark about what's going on. Everyone is at fault but him when he makes a mistake. Likes drama to much.

He is the most caring Dr. that I use for medical concerns. I wish he could be my "Family Doctor". He listens closely to issues I am having & always finds the best solution. He is compassionate, caring, & has a wonderful bedside manner. He helped me make it through menopause with ease & has done a couple is surgeries on me with great results. He listens so well & truly respects women. I have had previous OB-GYNs that just can't compare to him. I will never change again!
