Dr. Galpin and everyone at UB ortho provide excellent care.

I would never recommend Dr. Galpin. He diagnosed my sons rolled ankle as a growth plate fracture. An X ray will not show a possible break there because it is cartridge. Only an MRI will reveal that yet, he ordered another X-ray which only shows the bone. Besides being arrogant, I was forced to pay the copay for a second X-ray. I feel as though this was a cash grab and possibly insurance fraud. My son was also scheduled to see him yet, the day before I was contacted and told he would have to see a PA.

I was on an atv & got hit by a car when I was a child & I don’t remember much but what I do remember is this doctor & how kind he was I was so small & scared & he made sure I knew he had me & he sure did i remember him describing the procedures & being so fascinated I think I went through 13 surgeries total. all my life I always wondered if I’d be able to thank him the leg he operated on treats me better then my other one lol jus wanted to drop a thanks god bless thank you again

He seemed to know what he was doing, however he is extremely rude. He tried his best to get rid of us quickly and any question you ask of him is an inconvenience to him, as he acts. Wouldn’t recommend

Mr. Gallon recently performed a 9 hour spinal fusion on my 13 year old. His work is incredible. Everyone seems to be caught up on his bedside manner... Not me. I needed the best of the best and that's what I got for my child. He has changes her life.

I never post reviews but feel Dr. Galpin is only getting the negatives. We saw Galpin for over two months for my 15y/o. We never had any issues. He answered all questions and wasn’t condescending at all. Wait time is high but my view is it’s because he takes as much time as needed per patient.

Worst "doctor" I have ever seen. Terrible bedside manner, rude, obnoxious, condescending towards us. My child does not want to see him again. Acts like he is better than everyone. His office staff can't even stand him. We have another doctor to manage my childs injuries. I have told ever single person I know to never go to this guy.

Dr Galpin was beyond rude. The first appointment we waited over 4 hours and never saw the Great and Powerful, just a resident- even though we specifically asked to consult with Dr. Galpin. (As pining a bone after a the injury was to be determined) The second visit (2.5 hours) we met Dr. Galpin, zombies from the walking dead have more manners. My son raised his hand to ask a question and Dr. Galpin refused to acknowledge him! Dr Galpin embodies insult to injury. Only masochistic patients should schedule with him.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He is an arrogant, insensitive, pompous man with a terrible bedside manner. He belittles parents and makes you feel like an idiot. This man should not be allowed to deal with children. Just awful.
