Dr. Robert Lawrence Hatch, MD

Dr. Robert Hatch is a family medicine physician with four decades of experience serving patients throughout Florida. He earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed his residency at Medical College of Virginia Hospital. With 42 years in practice, Dr. Hatch brings extensive knowledge to comprehensive family care. He speaks both English and Spanish, helping him connect with diverse patient communities.

Dr. Hatch practices at multiple locations affiliated with UF Health and Shands Healthcare in Old Town and Gainesville, Florida. He has particular expertise in caring for patients with complex neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and cognitive impairment. His practice also includes treating patients with quadriplegia and coordinating comprehensive rehabilitation services. Dr. Hatch works closely with physical therapy teams to provide strength training and manual therapy as part of integrated patient care plans.
