Dr Shuler was recommended for my retina condition. Dr Shuler explained the procedure and what the good and bad of the operation could be. During cleaning of the retina, he found a hole and tear of the retina which he repaired. Last eye exam, the repaired retina had better vision than other eye. Dr Shuler truly did an outstanding job repairing the retina. Five star rating was given for a reason.

I had a detached retina - diagnosed by another eye doctor on a Saturday night He referred me to Dr. Shuler who saw me on Sunday and operated on Monday morning! Dr. Shuler is kind, compassionate, caring, and skilled. He knows his stuff and he cares about his patients. I was in a serious situation and am so grateful for my eyesight and for his skill. He can appear quiet at first meeting, but takes as much time as needed to answer questions and fully explain. He is honest and straightforward - especially about my responsibilities after the surgery to insure healing. My follow-up visits have been wonderful as he continues to monitor - all has healed wonderfully! So thankful for Dr. Shuler!

A routine eye exam 2 years ago revealed a detached retina and my ophthalmologist immediately referred me to Dr. Shuler. I had never had symptoms and was frightened. Dr. Shuler took the time to explain what was happening to my eye and my options. He answered every question, was very patient with my anxiety, and helped me feel comfortable with the decision for surgery. It was done at his office, and follow-ups have been every six months since, every one the same positive experience as my first. I can never say enough good things about Dr. Shuler. He is kind and caring, knowledgeable and straightforward, and an excellent surgeon. His staff are wonderful too, helping put me at ease for surgery, and always available to answer questions. Dr. Shuler always reminds that if I ever have any concerns to feel free to come in and he will take a look. What else could one ever ask for in a doctor? I recommend him highly. He is the best!

I have been under doctor Shuler's care for over six years. He is an excellent doctor. Not only does he take the time to make sure you completely understand what is going on with your condition, he is very kind and considerate!! I must have asked a million questions over these last 6 year's and Dr Schuler patiently answered each and every one.

Dr. Shuler is an excellent surgeon. I had a macular hole in my retina. He immediately scheduled surgery for me and did an AWESOME job. My recovery has been superb. I find Dr. Shuler to be very kind, caring and thoughtful doctor. He took the time to answer my questions and explain the details of the major surgery and recovery. I wouldn't trust any other surgeon but Dr. Shuler!

A sudden change in my vision required an evaluation by a retina specialist and Dr. Shuler was highly recommended. He is very thorough and professional. He took time to explain my situation in detail, discussing my options, risks and possible complications. My eye required surgery and it was a complete success! Restoration of my vision has been a wonderful gift. I am thankful for Dr. Shuler!

Dr. Shuler was able to repair an almost completely detached retina. Went out of his way to see us in his clinic on a Sunday and scheduled surgery for the next day. I was so lucky he was the on call ophthalmologist. Rather then losing sight in the eye it now is corrected to 85% and continues to improve. At 83 years it is nice to not be seen as hopeless. Many many thanks to Dr. Shuler who continues to follow my progress. He is a very skilled surgeon and caring physician.
