Dr. Robert Hays Mccoy, MD

I had a bad experience with Dr. McCoy and his team, and would not recommend their services to anyone. I went in for a Sleep Apnea assessment near the beginning of April. Two weeks later, I call the office to ask about my Sleep Study, and they have NO RECORD of me visiting for my Sleep Apnea, that was easily available to see? And so they ask if I want to be scheduled for a Sleep Study after I returned the device two weeks prior. I was floored and felt like a patient ignored. The billing was also not loaded into MyChart, but when I asked the Front Desk about it, they said that's "okay"! I called this location out of the blue for help with my sleep apnea, and they gave me the run around for a month, before I called back to ask what is going on. Only today on 4-25-2025 did they tell me that the device didn't work properly, and we need to schedule another appointment. No thanks, I've had my fill of this circus.

I wasted a year with this man before getting a cancer diagnosis elsewhere. He is not as competent as he believes himself to be. My intuition always said he does not care about me. I wish I had acted upon that impression sooner.

We met him today for the first time..he was over bearing..questioning like we were in a police station..did not listen...questioned my husband on diagnosis other doctors had given him.." well how do you know? What makes you think that.." dang...discarded all other doctors diagnosis. Will we go back..heck no!!!

Worst care ever

Terrible experience, visit was rushed, less than 5 minutes. I had to ask him to please listen to my concerns. He made me feel very uncomfortable. After my rush visit he was texting... so what was the rush? DO NOT see him, find someone else!

Got me through a really hard time -

EXCELLENT PHYSICIAN, VERY COMFORTABLE TO TALK WITH, SPENDS PLENTY OF TIME WITH ME, REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF !
