In and out including an X-ray in 45 minutes. Dr. Medler is fantastic with patients., especially kids! We love him!

way too long of a wait, and in the end he seemed kinda rushed. did not even move the area that i talked about/take time to examine it like the other orthopedic surgeons i’ve seen. what’s worse, told me to use a shoe insert when another doctor i went to after said a shoe insert would actually be hurtful for me. i don’t think he has bad intentions, but should be more thorough and doesn’t seem very competent

Quick and easy appointment, but bedside manner and diagnosis were terrible. Just told my 12 yo to get over it. No explanation and no more than 5 minutes spent. Didn’t even examine the right part of where she was explaining. Move on to someone else who is better with kids.

Every staff member was professional and thorough with the exception of Dr. Medler. The wait time for three appointments ranged between 40-75 minutes and the face time between 5 and 10 maximum. Initially not at all an unfriendly man, however when we began asking ?’s and looking for some clarification (as we are not doctors) he became very agitated. He had given us conflicting advice as how to proceed with our child’s injury so naturally we were not only confused but concerned. On our final appointment he said he was getting a nurse, left the room and never came back. If there was a misdiagnosis, an error made or simply something overlooked, we understand. Medicine isn’t always black and white. Being calm while being condescending does not equal good bedside manner. Having even the smallest modicum of humility or the ability to give a plan B would have gone a long way. It just didn’t happen.

Scheduling an appointment was very easy and when I arrived for my appointment, most of the staff I interacted with were very friendly and courteous. For the amount of time I waited to be seen (70 minutes) I would have appreciated a less rushed appointment once Dr Medler came into the room. If I hadn't taken A&P courses and educated myself about what was found on my X-rays, I would have had a very difficult time keeping up with his explanations. I trust his diagnosis and future care suggestions, but just felt very rushed and under appreciated as a patient.

Dr. Bob is a top doc! I feel very fortunate having been referred to him by my GP. She feels he's the best in his profession and I believe it. He is easy to talk to and makes you feel you are chatting with a friend that you have known for a very long time. He is also tremendously invested in his patients and their recovery. If he feels you're not committed to giving it your all in regards to PT he will tell you off for it. Found that one out the hard way! I HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

Dr. Medler has an outstanding bedside manner..he is relaxed and unhurried when speaking with his patients and their family. He explains procedures thoroughly and patiently. Our family highly recommends dr. Medler!!
