Dr. Robert W Dickson III, MD

Our family has a long history with Shiloh Medical Group beginning with Dr. Ware, then Dr. John Gould who has since retired. Fortunately, Dr. Gould brought Dr. Dickson into the practice quite some time ago and the while we may miss Dr. Gould, Dr. Dickson is as caring and careful as anyone could ask. He takes time to listen; he doesn't treat patients as numbers, and he doesn't rush anyone. He seems to always diagnose our ailments accurately.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dickson's ever since he began practicing in Shiloh. He is a wonderful and thorough family physician. And I am counting on him to NOT retire until I am long gone. Then he can retire.

I like everything about Shiloh Medical except that the wait can be too long. I've been late to work because I was waiting in the office for forty minutes after my appointment was scheduled. The wait time to see a doctor is at least twenty minutes, regardless of how busy it is or not. Other than that this is a great family oriented doctor's office. Very personal staff and doctors.

Has always taken the time needed to solve a problem. Still has the old country doctor ethics. Made home visits to my grandfather, has appointments in his office at 6:30 in the morning or 9:00 at night. Doesn't talk over your head. And even though he has thousands of patients, he always makes you feel like he's a close friend who cares about your health.
