Dr. Robin Andrew Matuk, MD

I've been dx with fibromyalgia and unknown autoimmune disease(no dr ever tried to find answers) for most of my 35 years. First visit with dr Matuk (who fit me I on mon after ER visit on Saturday for blood in stool)he is going to look for answers and believes(as I do in MY case) that I don't have fibro docs just threw it in cause didn't know WHAT was wrong. First visit but the most hope I've had in many years-god bless this man

Another gastro issue came up last month. Again, the office can be hit and miss when you try to call and explain your situation...It took 2 phones calls and 3 days to get a response from his nurse..although she was apologetic. Appointment over new problem was prompt and his bedside manners were much better. Follow up 3 weeks later was again much better. He explained with the pictures I had what my problem was and how to treat it. However, I always have to initiate the questions to get him to respond and complain. Perhaps this is a "guy" thing? Therefore, I will go back to him...as long as I am prepared to ask the questions....Also, in the endoscopy, he came up and re introduced himself before I went under ....Better "bedside manners."

Excellent is all I can say.

I LOVE Dr. Matuk. He is one intelligent man and very passionate about what he does and probably works way too much. When other doctors were of no use to me this man was able to figure out my issue. He is quite frank and I love that; just how I'd want my doctor to be.

Super nice and very thorough, he explains everything in a way that's easy to understand. You will love this Dr.

Fine Doctor. Very caring. His office staff is absolutely horrible. I'd fire all of them. They just don't care. Don't answer their calls, return calls, schedule tests. Terrible customer service.

Had my first visit with Dr. Matuk a couple of weeks ago. He was very kind and very patient. I am scheduled for an endoscopy tomorrow, I will let you know how it goes.

Doctor Matuk is kind, professional and very informative. I live in Porterville now and could see someone who is very good here but will making the trip to Bakersfield because he is the best.
