Looking for a new OB at 36 weeks is the last thing you want to do! Ps she also will not remember that she just spend the last 5 days stopping your preterm labor! You know why, because she doesn't even show up to the hospital when you're at a 3 in pain. And scared for your babies safety. That's the nurses job!

She is in the wrong profession. We had been trying to conceive for 14 months when I was recommended by a friend to see Robin. On my first visit I waited an hour and a half. She finally came in but acted rushed from the first second. She did an ultrasound to check for cysts and fibroids and said I was clear. After more discussion she felt strongly that I had endometriosis and recommended surgery. I had the surgery, thought everything went smoothly. I had my follow up appt where she spent a total of four minutes with me, after waiting more than an hour, and told me to “keep trying.” I asked if we should check my hormones, her response was “we could, but it wouldn’t tell us anything.” Fast forward a few months, still no luck, found a different doctor who is AMAZING! First appt he checked my hormones which were ALL over the place. He also did an ultrasound in which he found DOZENS of cysts on my ovaries - less than 3 months after my laparoscopic surgery by Dr Houpe. She didn’t see them… on the ultrasounds, I have proof they were there, and she didn’t see them as she was inside doing my surgery. Fast forward another 8 months, still not pregnant. My new dr had concerns that I may still have endometriosis. We did the exact same surgery again and he found TONS of endometriosis still in there. Dr Houpe missed more than half of it! I was livid. She not only wasted my time and money but she also wasted months of our time trying to conceive with no chance. She is the absolute worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. If you want a caring and involved doctor, not just someone in it for the money, stay far away from her.

I loved working with Dr. Houpe. I am sad because I moved out of state and can no longer use her as my doctor! She will be hard to replace. I wanted natural birth and she did her best to help me get that, even when a nurse was pushing me to take pitocin. Dr. Houpe will make sure you are listened to but I knew that if I needed medical intervention if it was necessary . Dr. Houpe also did a fantastic job of stitching me up after as my episiotomy. She took her time. She makes the patient a priority. I did have to wait, but after all the time he took taking care of me at the hospital I did not mind. I knew when I was at the hospital she would not rush back to her office before I was truly taken care of.

Dr. Hope does build rapport at all. She has made me feel very belittled and minimized side effects I experienced due to medication.I would not recommend her.

Worst doctor in the world don't go to her

This doctor was horrible! After seeing her I went to a specialist and they were shocked she had missed very important things. Please go to someone who knows how to take care of your unborn children.

Very clinical. Does not apologize or offer explanation for long wait times. Was told to call back on a day she was scheduled for vacation. I do not recommend this doctor. The clinic is nice.
