Dr. Rodney Lee Lupardus, MD

My previous doctor retired and he referred me to Dr. Lupardus because they worked together in Granite City for 20 years. So I called Dr. Lupardus office in trou, the receptionist left a bit on his desk saying who I was referred by, and the receptionist called me the next day to inform me that he isn't accepting new patients!!!!!!!! Terrible!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. You partner of 20 years refers their patient to you and you turn it down!!!!! Wow! With friends like that who needs enemies I guess!

I don’t think Dr Lupardus should have let his wife decide who he can and can’t work with. He and Drs Eavenson and Bell worked side by side for 20 years and were a great team !!! His wife should have stayed out of it. He’s a good dr but made a very poor decision and left the practice high and dry.

Good bedside manner. But! Seems that his decisions are based a lot upon his religious beliefs. Waiting time could be hours. He does listen to you.

Rodney was a nice guy buy a lot happened behind the scenes. He called his patients “train wrecks”. Can you imagine him thinking you are a train wreck and then having to go in and be seen. I don’t think it was fair for him to walk out over a female. I did speak to the two docs that are still there and they even told him he could come back but they weren’t firing the nurse practitioner. Ridiculous in his part. Thx Anna for putting his patients in this situation.

Unbelievable! This Dr quits practicing in Granite City and moves to Troy because he refused to work with a female nurse practitioner. He said his wife refused to allow him to go back to work even after being with the practice for 20 years! Does his wife decide what’s best for YOUR health or only if you are a woman ? Unbelievable. Go to someone else. What did he do to make his wife so jealous ?

i have been his patient for 20 years and have always trusted his handling of any medical problems i experienced.

Dr. Lupardus worked at Multicare for 20 years. They hire a female nurse practitioner and he resigns. Why would he do that? What does he have against females. I’ve been there. She’s wonderful. Don’t attack them, ask why he would leave our community on a moments notice because of her?

Really listens and cares for his pts. PLEASE-- when and where is your new office alot of you pateints want to know?

My family has been with Dr. Lupardus since he started his practice in 1993. If someone knows how I can get in touch with him since he left MultiCare Specialists I would appreciate it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rodney Lupardus for as long as he has been in practice,would follow where he goes.
