Very Unethical Doctor. Does not listen to his patients need, feel like the doctor was rushing me to recover, when I was asked how I was doing it seemed like he didn’t believe that I was still in pain and that my knee was still getting swollen with prolonged standing, he sent me back to work even though I was not physically ready to go back. He is not the only unprofessional unethical person, his staff Susie and Martina are very unprofessional. They constantly lie to cover up for there mistakes, when the first lie doesn’t work cause you prove them wrong, they’ll find blame on someone else, this says a lot about the doctor.

I think he is a terrible doctor. He spent literally no time with me trying to figure out my problem. He pretty much said every option for my shoulder pain has been tried out and he doesn't know what to do. I went to a different doctor got an MRI and found out I have several muscle tears. I would never go back to Dr. Chaplan

This is the worst doctor I have ever had! His bedside manner is a joke! I had a total knee replacement about 5 yrs ago, and STILL have pain. I went back to him a couple of times because of it, and he told me it was ok. He asked me, "why did you come back here?", and I told him, "BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONE THAT DID THE SURGERY!!!" He kept doing X-Rays, and of course the X-Rays don't show anything deep, so he kept telling me it looks good. I asked him for an MRI to show more, and he didnt want to do that. I told him I wanted him to see what I was talking about. I didnt have pain for no reason. He offered a shot in the painful area, so I agreed. This was my first time having this done, and he didnt tell me what to expect, so when he did it, he hit a bone or something, and it hurt so bad I jumped. He was angry at ME when I jumped, and he told me he has done hundreds of these, and I told him it was MY first time!!!!!!!!! I hope he reads these reviews. The only pleasant… experience going to his office was his receptionist Martina. She is so nice and pleasant.

I had a snowboarding accident and went to Dr. Chaplan years after seeing him for softball injuries. Dr. is sometimes very unreachable and unresponsive which I find frustrating and unacceptable. I had a lot of "I don't know" answers, multiple follow up visits (sometimes under 5 minutes) with no future plan or explanations, and eventually lost all confidence. I had an arthroscopic surgery about 7 weeks after the accident. Dr. Chaplan did not prep me well for what to expect, did not stop in to check on me in the recovery room before leaving, and did not anticipate the massive scar tissue, sickness, or lack of recovery that was soon to follow. I had many insurance issues and asked for help with them with no response for 4 weeks. Enough was enough and I went elsewhere to receive the care I expected and deserved.
