Dr. Ross Abraham Mcentarfer, MD

Follow up for cervical fusion, two - C2-C3 and C3-C4. They took out the staples on a five inch incision today. The appt was on time, the Doc was great and it was a overall positive experience. Of course, I did not want to continue to wear a collar for the neck but it is protocol and he walked me through it. Ergo, 5 stars. Thank you!

I actually met with Dr. Mcentarfer's PA who was wonderful - very informative and clear about my x-rays and my overall spine health. I left feeling relieved and positive - that means a lot!

He is a wonderful doctor...listens and points out issues and possible treatment.

Dr. Mcentarfer came into the exam room with his laptop. He had seen my X-ray and had my MRI on the screen. He introduced himself and ask for my history of the problem. He had me walk on my heels then toes, followed by slowly bending forward until I stopped to avoid pain. He showed me enhanced views of my spinal degenerative discs then explained that my excessive lifting triggered extreme pain but had not ruptured a disc. He explained how he would treat me with medication and follow up in one month. His answers were clear. His use of the laptop with images enabled me to understand my pain and the plan to cure it.

Dr. Mcentarfer has been nothing but amazing, after the surgery i am totally pain free after years of chronic pain, his office has always been accommodating to my needs 10 out to 10.

I recently saw the doctor for a back problem that is causing serious interruption in my life. It was my first visit and I felt like I was just on an assembly line. While he answered my questions, I felt like one of many, many patients he would see that day and when my 15 minutes was up, that was it. Probably not the doc's fault but the type of HC system we know are burdened with. Oh well...
