I do not recommend Telehealth with this psychiatrist based on my experience. He states he specializes in self-esteem, but I personally felt dismissed during a vulnerable appointment after previously having generally fine sessions. When I expressed uncertainty about continuing medication and wanting to find something that worked better for me, I felt rushed and was told I needed to make a decision immediately, and was given no option to taper off/ find an alternative. I have never had an experience like this. The appointment ended shortly after and I had no space to fully explain my concerns. My sessions were often under five minutes, which felt insufficient given the cost and the nature of the issues I was trying to address (anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues). Overall, I did not feel this was a good fit for me, especially for anxiety-related care.
