Dr. Sammy Elsayed Elsamra, MD

I saw Dr. Elsamra. He was terrific and I was looking forward to having him do my surgery. He gave me a script for a procedure. When I tried to schedule, I was told I need blood work. I called and called and called. No one returned my phone calls. I left messages in the portal. 2 1/2 weeks later, I got a message in the portal saying they are short staffed and would get back to me. Its been 4 weeks: nothing. I wrote a letter, no reply. I called the appointment line and asked to speak to the practice manager. They said they couldn't connect me. I asked for his/her name, they wouldn't give it to me. Suffice it to say, I'm looking for another surgeon. If it doesn't bother you to not get anyone to respond if you have a question or a problem, then by all means use Dr. Elsamra. But if it bothers you being ignored, I wouldn't recommend it.

Dr. El Samra perform surgery on my bladder removing 2 very large stones and also removed the inside of my large prostrate gland. This surgery was done robotically and I discharged the next day. I was up and about with no pain and driving 4 or 5 days later. I would recommend Dr. El Samra for this surgery and for his interest in the patient. He listens to the patient, answers questions about your complaints and about the procedure so that you have a feeling that he cares about his patients.

Sorry, but making a new patient wait in your office for two hours without seeing you, and with your staff telling me not to use the restroom because you needed an ultrasound (which never took place) yields you a one-star review. I've heard good things about Dr. Elsamra, but I can't vouch for any of it. I left without getting a chance to even meet him! I'll be making an appointment with another urologist tomorrow.

Before saying that you are an extraordinary doctor, I want to tell you that you are an extraordinary human being. , I value the fact that you were a good listener, your attitude was exceptional Thanks for your effective analysis and diagnosis

Dr. Sammy is a very caring dedicated doctor. I would recommend him.
