Dr. Sapana Mainali is a great doctor, very informed, caring, knowledgable.

My son and I are both patients of Dr. Mainali, and we have found that she listens carefully to our input and takes it into consideration during the process of diagnosis and treatment. She takes time to explain things and answer any questions we have. We never feel rushed through our appointment. She's knowledgeable, professional and just generally a terrific physician. We highly recommend her.

Dr. Mainali treats you like she is the one who will tell you what treatment you will need and doesn't listen to you as the patient. I want a doctor who will listen to me and include me in the treatment decision. She misdiagnosed me and then I got even worse.

She was helpful in helping with my swelling legs and other issue's I had . So I recommend if you have a problem that other Doctor's can't help , go and see her . Thank you Dr. S.M

Dr Mainali listens to everything I say and answers all my questions.

I was surprised at how easy it is to get in to see Dr. Mainali. I know now why. She'll have you come in for multiple visits, way more followups than you need. It doesn't feel like she's really listening because she's typing into a computer (which is I guess how geisinger does it). I don't mind the computer's but there are better ways. I've had doc's that use a tablet so they are at least facing you. At least I thought I would have a good medical history, but now that I've gotten my charts I'm shocked by how few notes were taken. I also was led to believe that she did more tests than she actually did.In a nutshell she's great for getting in for a common illness, but if you have a weird condition, like me, that's not easy to diagnose, I recommend getting a new primary care physician.

She gave me the wrong diagnosis. My symptoms got worse and she wouldn't do the correct tests and told me I didn't need other tests. She didn't believe that I was sick and the medicine she gave me was not working. I went to a different doctor and he knew what was wrong right away conducted the proper test and found the problem. Dr. Mainali and her nurses are rude too! If you are sick don't go to her, find a better doctor, her experience is poor.
