Dr. Sarah Snelgrove Canavan, MD

Dr. Canavan has been extremely helpful and her exams are thorough. She explains tests, results and treatment options personally. Dr. Canavan is thorough and understanding and delivers with a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Canavan is one of the brightest most passionate doctors I have ever had and seemed to be exceptionally caring in my appointments with her. She is always on top of new-medicine and the most current procedures and thinks outside the box for treatment. The problem is that her follow ups are terrible and time management is terrible. My last visit I sat in the office for over 45 minutes just to finally be told I would need to wait another 20 minutes for her to see me. I had to leave for a meeting at work so never saw her. She ended up calling me and apologized and ended up suggesting a new medication for me to try and wanted to refer me to an additional specialist (ENT). The medication was denied by my insurance and Dr. Canavan never once followed up with me. Also, the referral to the ENT was never made. I finally called her office after a month of waiting just to be told she moved facilities and that my records weren't transferred like I was told. I now have to basically start over.… Again, she is a very talented doctor but that means nothing when you leave your patients completely in the dust and not taken care of.
