He is an intelligent and knowledgeable Dr. and is worth the wait.

I was never informed the time of my procedure. I was told specifically I would be called on Sunday and told the time. I asked twice and received this answer twice. The initial office visit also took an incredibly long time. I was told to be there 30 min before scheduled time. They didn't unlock the office doors until 10 min before my scheduled time. I won't even go into the pre procedure testing I endured at riverside, where the so called Dr said "I wouldn't be doing my job if I just ignored the elephant in the room... you need to lose some weight". I'm done with this Dr and that hospital.

Patient for four years, but no more. Waited four months for my last appointment, and then when I got there, Dr. Arlin kept me waiting for an hour and 45 minutes. Worse, he acts like he is listening, but he doesn't hear you. At least, he doesn't seem to think. He wanted to give me a colonoscopy when I complained of burping and upper digestive system pain. When I questioned him, he said, "Look, just tell me what you want to do." Ummm... you're the doctor. Act like it. Final straw came when I called several days in advance of an office visit because I needed to reschedule it due to a conflict. The scheduling person would not reschedule it until I paid a $25 rescheduling fee. That's ridiculous. They quadruple book appointments and then charge you to reschedule one? I could see being charged for a missed appointment, but not for a reschedule oned. Done with this useless office and doctor!

This office as a whole is a absolute nightmare to work with. Unfortunately they have the market cornered since they are the sum of several practices merged over the years. Even if you are an established patient with an acute problem you will have to wait months. You also have to do your homework because if you don't choose the right doctor the first time you go they will not let you switch. They make you go through an internal review process that will then be denied. I had to leave one appointment before the doctor even came in because it had been 2 hours and had to get back to get my kids off bus. They then had the the nerve to then bill me for the appointment. I have visited many specialist in the city between my kids and myself and this office is the absolute worst !!!!
