Dr. Scott Gordon Chudnoff, MD

Scott Chudnoff is one of the finest and most compassionate doctors I have ever gone to. His expertise and professionalism made the out of state trip worth the effort. Then when complications arose during my total and radical hysterectomy, Dr. Chudnoff used his wealth of knowledge and experience to help me and successfully finished the operation. My only regret is that I did not find him sooner. I could have been saved myself years of pain and embarrassment. After his help, I truly feel my best years are ahead of me.

If you are suffering from Fibroids please see Dr. Scott Chudnoff. He is the most amazing doctor and he may be able to give you a variety of choices on how to deal with your problem. I am extremely happy with my results and would recommend him to anyone suffering as I was. Nice guy GREAT DOCTOR!

My sister and I traveled to see Dr. Chudnoff as he was listed as a specialist of the accessa treatment for fibroids. He seemed knowledgeable and pleasant and suggested a number of tests to determine eligibility. This is where the problems began. I was given a sonogram and then scheduled for another test. I was never called to remind me of test prep, but showed up for my appointment as scheduled. I proceeded to wait for over an hour and a half in the examination room as they could not find the proper instruments to conduct the test. He and his nurse both eventually left to search for the proper tools. This should have been enough of a red flag for me to leave, but I wanted to get the results and stuck it out. It was a very painful procedure that would determine if I had any abnormalities,(cancer). I was told that the nurse would contact me to schedule an appointment for two weeks later. I was never contacted, so a month after the exam, I called to see what was happening and was told to… come in again for the results. I was nervous that something may be wrong as they didn’t give me the results over the phone. Dr. Chednoff came in with an intern he was training snd asked if that was ok. The intern was already in the room when he asked, so I allowed it Though I felt I should have been asked in advance and did not appreciate that approach, but worst of all, instead of giving me my results, Dr. Chudnoff began asking me questions about whether or not I had a sonogram, etc. as though he had absolutely no record of my tests, results or visits. He then asked questions that made me wonder if he had mixed up my files with my sister’s. He casually gave me some options for treating the fibroids that I was well aware of before coming to him, but did not address my eligibility for the procedure I came to him to find out about. I had to ask him if the hysteroscopy showed any cancer before he gave those results as well. To top it off, I filled out documents to have my records sent to me. That was over 6 months ago - nothing came and no follow up call from Dr. Chudnoff. Absolutely unacceptable. It leaves me wondering if I was simply given a bunch of tests because I have good insurance that would cover them. I do not recommend Dr. Chudnoff or Stanford Medical. This was a completely unprofessional experience that left me feeling like an anonymous insurance card rather than a respected patient.

Dr. Chudnoff was extremely caring and professional when dealing with a really personal problem of mine. I only wish I contacted him earlier so I would have had less of a run-around.
