Dr. Scott Steven Gargasz, MD

The Advanced Hand & Plastic Surgery Center is a well-managed, well organized and observably dedicated medical provider. Dr. Gargasz is highly competent, noticeably courteous and clearly interested in the well being of his patients. His calming manners and respectful patience are genuine and very sincere. It is quite obvious that his leadership sets a shining example for his staff, as they strive to offer and maintain the highest standard of care and courtesy I have experienced recently.

My Son Seriously Fractured his hand on Saturday evening, He and I spent over 8 hours in the Brandon ER resulting in not being seen due to hos. having internal issues. left to TGH urgent care now Sunday morning. I called Dr. Scott S. Gargasz office Monday morning at 10:15 explaining to a staff member what the X-Ray showed and I asked when can I get him seen, She asked how does 1pm sound. I expected to hear 3-6 weeks. I am so beyond words of gratitude to all the Staff and Doctor as they are all kind, sincere, and genuinely care. Dr. Gargasz was absolutely superb, explained in detail what condition my sons hand was in and we are set for surgery Tuesday. Dr.Gargasz was patient, clear in explaining everything, and did not rush us at all. He even apologized for making us wait, which I explained I called that morning no apologies, We are grateful. I will give another review following the surgery as It's so important to take the time to give good reviews.

I was very pleased with Dr. Gargasz's medical skills and his professional and congenial attitude. He operated on my very badly broken 5th metecarpal on my right hand. He is a highly-experienced surgeon who does great work and respects his patients. I would highly recommend his services.

7 weeks ago after many years of thumb pain, cortisone and Kenalog shots, I finally had Basal Thumb Arthroplasty. Was I nervous? Yes!! I I did my right thumb first; dominant hand. I guess I was the lucky patient as I had no discomfort at all the first 6 weeks. Tylenol is all I required. My 6 weeks in a cast/split is done and now I am doing physical exercises as instructed with heat once a day and ice as need for swelling. Exercises as instructed. I have had some minor discomfort ; as I am stretching I am swelling a little bit but nothing that can't be handled by an ice pack so I know I am healing. I am indeed a lucky patient. Left thumb is next and I can't think of another doctor I would use. If you choose this surgery be patient. Over time and doing the proper exercises you will most will get better. Thank you Dr Gargasz; you are an excellent doctors and I appreciate all the great care.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Gargasz's since 2016. He had wrist pain that was hindering his life. When we scheduled the appointment he was able to be seen in less than a week! The office was very nice and all of the staff members we came into contact with were welcoming and knowledgeable. My husband had to have an injection in the office and Dr. Gargasz made him feel very comfortable. Dr. Garagsz was very professional, but he was also personable! Overall, we had a great experience at Advanced Hand & Plastic Surgery Center and we have told our friends and family who need a hand surgeon to come to this practice! I shut my hand in the car door on my way to work and decided to have it looked at. Dr. Gargasz was not available but I was able to get an appointment with his partner Dr. Miller. It was the same nice staff as when my husband was seen and Dr. Miller was also very nice and very professional! I didn't break my hand (such a relief!) but I'm so glad I had it looked at. I… can now say that I would trust either doctor at this office to take good care of my family and friends!

I had carpal tunnel surgery on Friday July 28,2017 . Dr. G did an excellent job , and fast . I went home and felt wonderful , no need for pain meds . I kept putting surgery off for a long while because I was afraid , but trusting Dr. G was very easy because he is a strongly professional Doctor . I knew I was under the best care . The medical staff at Florida Hospital-Fletcher was wonderful . A great team ! Thank you Dr. Gargazs ! I feel whole already .

This doctor is bought by the insurance companies! This doctor releases patients after only one visit evaluation with no treatment to full duty work despite patients having continued pain and a disability that does not allow them to perform their job duties..... all while they are awaiting scheduled surgery. Conflict of interest, not standard of care!

I have known Dr Scott Gargasz for 7 years. In my personal experience, he has always delivered more than promised. His humble, conservative nature, combined with entertaining and funny at times is makes him a pleasure to work with.

Was one of Dr. Gargasz's first patients in Tampa in 2006. He is the absolute best!

he did do augumentation/tummy tuck for me i am very estatic of the out come,i have no scaring from augumentation, and barley can see pencil thin one tummy tuck you probably would not if you did not know i had one done he is the most caring md i ever met and in my busimess i have met plenty,
