Dr. Seema Harichand-Herdt, MD

Dr. Harichand is professional, knowledgable and kind. She answered my questions completely and calmly and without rushing me. She never spoke down to me and was always honest. I always came away from our meetings feeling confident that I was getting the best care possible.

Doctor failed to follow up with her long-standing patient after it was found that the port catheter was torn and chemotherapy was leaking into patients chest cavity/walls. As soon as this was found via radiology at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Dr. Harichand never spoke to her patient again. As toxins were introduced into patient's "perforated" chemo port catheter, patient became violently ill as a result of perforated catheter. and endured a 2 week hospital stay and endured multiple toxicity related symptoms. Be very careful and demand that doctors examine the port upon each chemotherapy session to determine functionality of port. Very poor doctor/client relationship.

I really appreciated working with Dr. Harichand, however, the office staff have been the most infuriating people to work with. I have contacted them over 10 times, 5 times being assured that the problem would be resolved. The staff collected my insurance upon my first visit and have consistently billed the wrong insurance company. This issue has been promised to be resolved several times and after 3 months it is still an pressing problem.

She is an excellent doctor and has a fantastic supporting staff.
