Dr. Selma Jane Taylor, DO

Id leave zero stars if I could. As a doctor she should at least know how to interpret lab results. She told me one of my hormone levels was too high when it was in fact within normal range. She refused to give me medications I needed as shown by my labs unless I submitted to painful biopsies that were not at all warranted. I knew more about my lab results after a simple google search than she did. I saw her at the ava clinic. I took my lab results to another doctor the next day for a second opinion and was prescribed the medications I needed and we had a good laugh about how as a physician doctor Taylor wasn’t competent enough to read lab results and give me proper care. The only positive about dr Taylor is she was very kind and friendly but she clearly doesn’t know jack about women’s issues which is odd because she’s an ob gyn

I would like to leave no stars because that is how I feel about this doctor. Worst experience I’ve had with a doctor. Made me cry over the phone when I asked questions about testing results that I was genuinely concerned about my well being. I do not recommend her to anyone.

She has Left the practice at Ozarks Women's clinic in West Plains, MO. I am looking for her current location.

I couldn't ask for a more caring and attentive Dr to see me! She actually listened and is coming up with a plan of action for my issue. I no longer feel like I'm stuck with this and am looking forward to feeling better!

I had an allergic reaction because of my pump parts and I went in to be seen. At the time she thought thrush, it most certainly was not thrush, she thought bacterial, it was also not that at all. I told her I thought it was an allergic reaction she said no. I went in and out 4 times missing 4 days of work just for her at the end to say yep allergic reaction... I also miscarried at 7 weeks and she said I was never pregnant even though I passed actual fetal tissue. That is very hurtful to someone that just lost a child.

she is every cool and fun to have with learning new things about babies and having a baby.
