Very thorough with his exam, very informative of his concerns

I felt like he was patronizing me and medical gaslighting me by telling me I had a mood disorder when I told him that I did not want to be dismissed as I have by other doctors in the past. Yes, I was highly emotional because I have been dealing with pain for 40 years!!! His was a very typical response from many doctors I have seen in the past especially here in Las Vegas. Although he says he has a plan for me to find out where my pain originates from only time will tell. But from the get-go I was not impressed as he kept interrupting me and if a doctor does not give you time to explain things to them without constantly interrupting then what kind of a bedside manner does he have? Not a good one that's for sure.

Unfortunately I left my appointment feeling completely unheard and frustrated. Dr. Pak spent less than 2 minutes in my room, did not ask questions regarding the history or impact of my injury, and left me with a prescription that I didn’t ask for. I don’t doubt he is a fine doctor in other situations, but that is not the experience I had.

I've seen Dr. Pak a few times and while I don't eat junk food, I believe one would spend more time in a drive thru line than meeting with him. The issues I'm having are serious and life altering. I have been trying to manage the affects while going to multiple doctors to determine the root cause for almost a year. When I attempt to ask Dr. Pak questions after he's finished talking, he hands me the clipboard and tells me to give it the people at the front. It's his standard speech. He's done it every time I've seen him. He doesn't explain what may have caused my health issue, why it's causing my ailments or share any medical knowledge. It's almost as if he has a personal best record time getting patients out the door and he's always trying to break it. He told me what to do for my diagnosis (which will require a different doctor) and that if it works he'll never see me again. For my health I really hope it works, but also never want to see him again. Today's health care system… provides many challenges and obstacles. Most often we don't have access to outstanding medical care. We are usually left navigating referral to referral in search answers and solutions. While I did receive some answers from a MRI Dr. Pak ordered, I don't feel I received many from him. I hope someone finds this helpful. I wish you luck and great health.

In many visits to to Pak, He showed care, compassion With great deal of patience to investigate and manage My chronic back-pain & neck pain (degenerative osteoarthritis) that was crippling me. Now, I’m recovering....I owe him all my gratitude and This testimony.

I had gone to this doctor before for back pain year and a half ago so today I went to see him because I had unbearable pain on my left buttocks and leg, he just said you need to loose weight and physical therapy , then I said what no x rays no nothing for my pain , no I know what is wrong with you. you will get a cream in the mail (7 days have pass and no cream) and don't come back , the next day I went to emergency where they took x rays and found that I have an herniated disc and arthritis, I was told to see a neurologist for surgery . I will never go back to this doctor

MRI shown, It was supposed to have my spine L3-S1 surgery, Dr. Pak did L3-5 instead, Pain worsen, I would like to give him a NEGATIVE-Black 5-star, if I could.

Dr. PAK, like the Lone Ranger, is an exceptional Spine Surgeon with awesome med school- to- fellowship in Neuro-Spine fellowship training. I have seen so many Spine doctors that talk with forked tongue, DR PAK does not, is kind, listens, and compassionate, and paints good picture of surgery and re-hab and expectable results post surgery!

He conducted the consultation with the door open for everyone to hear and rushed through questions regarding back surgery. The woman who answers the phone for him has a bad attitude and is beyond rude!
