Dr. Shelley Rene Bailey, MD

I like Dr. Bailey as a person, but she NEVER touches me.... Years ago she would at least listen to my heart. Now - she doesn’t come near me.....Just sits behind her computer and types. I know there is a lot of paper work but for Heavens sake.... at least listen to my heart!!! I’ve also felt like she thinks I’m a drug addict when I explain the pain I have. It’s a shame decent people can’t get what they need because of REAL drug addicts..... Medicine has gone. To. The. Dogs.....

Had to get new doctor one who knew what they were doing. Instead of working up my symptoms or referring me to the appropriate doctor she accused me of seeking pain medication . I had two tears in rotator cuff that required surgery and bad disc in neck that required injections she missed both diagnosis or even the sense to refer out

Completely missed doing correct tests for my issue . Accused me of drug seeking . Ended up having 2 tears in rotator cuff and bad disc in neck she didn’t refer to orthopedic or refer to pain clinic . I had surgery for shoulder and I assure you I wasn’t drug seeking . She may want to not be so judgmental

I told her I didn't want her to be so rude and asked her to stop screaming and pulling on me or I will get a lawyer . She got two other women in the room to help her bully me for over an hour . She's such a big tough woman and real smart !

She's lied about my problems I have had . I had to go to another whole doctor . She yelled at me the entire time in the room .

Stay away from her in all the clinics in Hurricane , Milton . Same goes for Dr Hadley who use to work on cedar grove who works with her . Dr Hadley quit cedar grove WV valley health and went to other areas because she got into hot water over rough handling patients and lying and starting fights . Just being unprofessional . They're both crooks ! Pass on the word . I seen both and did reading recently on both and was shocked . Dr Hadley voted good reviews for herself online to cover her tracks and lied saying she hasn't worked in cedar grove in a year . Others say just a few months . She works with this crook !

Dr. Bailey is the most cold hearted uncaring self proclaimed professional I have ever had the misfortune of being in contact with. I had to go to the emergency room to find out what was wrong with me. All she cares about is taking your money and ignoring your needs. Very pathetic doctor.

I would have to agree with a previous review in its entirety. I had the same experience. She does not make the effort to know you or your medical circumstances. I ended up in the ER because she refused to acknowledge my symptoms. She does not order simple routine blood work, which I find puzzling. I have had a request for a prescription refill sit on her desk for days, which forced me to have to call several times to get it taken care of. Dealing with illness is hard enough. Don't even consider.

She is a glorified switchboard. Refers instead of diagnoses, lacking in information because of this. And because she is not knowledgeable, she will not be able to judge if your specialist is correct, instead trusting that because they're certified they know everything that is possible. When the certification tests cover limited information about a specialty as there's certain percentages of disorders and information per type, that's not okay. You will definitely get a lot of it's in your heads or we don't knows instead of diagnoses and help. If you know any information about your medical problems, expect it to be ignored.

Dr. Bailey is a very kind, caring, and understanding person. She is also very thorough, listens to you, and takes what you have to say seriously.
