Dr. Sherry Yang, MD

Dr. Yang has been seeing my twin girls since they were less than two years old. They are now almost 17. She is an excellent doctor and i recommend her. When my insurance changed and was not accepted at their office i continued to go because i would rather pay cash than switch. Can't say enough good things.

Dr. Yang was excellent with my son. Her bedside manner is fantastic. I would recommend her to anyone in need!

We had a complicated case and Dr. Yang was EXCELLENT, patient, and thorough.

First of all, the wait time was unacceptable to me as I was with my infant child. I was out of there in 2 hours. I went in for one issue and it turns out my child had a much more severe issue in the opposite eye. I don't feel that she was compassionate in her delivery of the bad news. There was no reassurance. No real game plan provided. I was very concerned and upset and it was very visible. She made comments that made me feel even more scared about what was happening with my child. I will be getting 2nd and 3rd opinions and I hope to find a more sensitive and compassionate doctor.

She told us that my grandson with albinism (legally blind) would be walking into walls if he was in a place he didn't know. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN! She didn't say "maybe" or its "possible" he would be walking into walls. She said he "would". She also said he would need braille. Also not true. We took him to 2 other doctors. The first one we took him to after her gave us a better outcome so we took him to another one since Dr. Yang and the second one were so opposite prognosis. The 3rd one is in the top 1% in the country and he also said he would not be walking into walls or need braille. Definately would not recommend her.

I have been taking my son to Dr Yang for 10 years and would not trade her in for any other eye doctor in the world.. I was told when my son was 1 years old by a different doctor that my son had an lazy eye and for 4 years of his life I knew nothing of his current condition.. When I decided to get a second opinion I turned to Dr Yang and I`m glad I did.. Se answered all my questions and told me everything I needed to know about my son. She is thoughtful kind loving caring Doctor.. I would recommend her to anyone!!!!

I am shocked that there are any negative reviews of this doctor. Dr. Yang was wonderful with our daughter. She was very thoughtful, thorough, and kind during the examination. And, more importantly, she was able to explain our child's problem without using confusing medical jargon. We are very pleased with Dr. Yang will recommend her highly to others.

I also am shocked by good reviews. I took my 2 month old grandson because he has nystagmus. She was very insentive and harsh. He has oca2 and she said he has no pigment in his eyes at all. His eyes are blue. We took him to another doctor and she told us "of couse he has pigment. His eyes are blue" Maybe she's ok with children with no problems, but for sure not good with children with albinism.

I'm shocked by the positive reviews for Dr. Yang. I brought my daughter to her and we had an awful experience. I found her to be cold and insensitive. We went to a different eye doctor and it was 100% better. Stay away from this doctor!

My 5 yr. old daughter was terrified to go to another eye doctor after having a bad experience with a family care eye doctor. Dr. Yang made her feel very comfortable. She is very caring, kid-friendly, and patient. Just the kind of pediatric eye doctor we were looking for.
