The doctor is amazing, but her staff is very slow and need their hands held.

Tried for over 3 1/2 years to see this doctor, every time put on a waiting list of 6 months or more with the "possibility" of getting in to see her at that point but when call back 6 months later, same exact thing. I have Hashimoto's, Hypothyroid and a multi-nodular goiter, being new to the area I was looking for a good endocrinologist. One of the nodules grew to over 2cm and needed to be biopsied, the thyroid had to be removed, all without the care of an endocrinologist even though every time I called I told the office my situation. I finally got in to see the Nurse Practitioner after having to have my thyroid removed but after seeing her twice, she left the practice. She noted in my record I needed to see Dr. Jacob herself as am having complications and my parathyroids never started working after the thyroid was removed. An appointment had to be made several months out in order to see the doctor herself. The appointment is tomorrow and received a call after 3pm today the doctor will… not be in in the morning, my appointment will be with a Nurse Practitioner. I am highly disappointed to say the least, have waited all this time to actually see the doctor and hopefully get some medical guidance after not feeling well for so long and get called the day before that it will not happen. I don't feel this is a way to run a practice, so very frustrating. I have nothing against NP's, they are wonderful, but I waited several months to see the doctor for a reason.

I am a 65 yo Male and have been diabetic since 1986. I went from oral pills to twice a day insulin shots to multiple insulin shots in the 90s and eventually transitioned to Insulin Pump with CGM some 20 years ago. After consulting with some top notch Stanford Endocrinologists for a few years, and dissatisfied with their approach, I recently went to see Dr. Jacob on the advice of my PCP. After a few meetings, I am now off Insulin completely and my pancreas are taking care of my blood sugars automatically. I find this nothing less than miraculous, and Dr. Jacob as a Diabetes Whisperer! She is the most well-informed physician, and extremely kind, compassionate and patient. She analyzed my case in a systematic fashion, and came up with the most appropriate treatment. Diabetics all over the world need physicians like Dr. Jacob.

I was referred to Dr Jacob about 10 years ago by my primary dr because she believed I was suffering from hyper parathyroid disease. Dr Jacob advised that my Vitamin D level was lower than she’s ever seen. Most people with HPTD require surgery to correct this matter, but Dr Jacob worked with my levels of Vitaminand calcium in order to adjust my levels of Vit D and get my hyper parathyroid under control again non-invasively. She continues to monitor my levels each month. She also subsequently discovered me to be anemic and further has taken over my diabetes care, and thyroid since I suffered from Hashimotos disease leaving me with no thyroid gland. She found at least 3 Important issues that my primary had completely missed. I adore her and she’s about as good as they come as a doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I saw her today for the first time. She is outstanding. Listens carefully, examines and gives you answers. Very happy with her office. I did wait a while to get an appointment, but it was worth it.

She is the best doctor I have ever met in my life time. She takes time to listen and comes with a solution to any problems you have. Blessed to have her as my doctor. Simply the best.

Does not listen. She send me for a test and they suggested to go for a different test at the hospital and she claimed that I did not need it. Well I knew something was wrong so I went to another Doctor only to find out I had to have my thyroid removed because it was cancer, which had spread. Thank goodness I did not listen to her!!!! Will never go back. The receptionist in the front desk is always rude.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service was refused to me. How can a office legally turn you away for not having health insurance. Paying cash is obviously not a option at this office. And receptionist is super rude. Good luck to those she sees. So disappointed.
