Dr. Sonoo Kishu Advani, MD

I have had a multitude of health issues since 2021. Dr. Advani ordered several test other specialist did not. She listened to all my concerns. She not only took care of my health needs, but also advocated on my behalf with other doctors to make sure that my voice was heard, and that I could receive the best plan of care. Today, I rate her expertise 10 stars. She has an excellent staff which puts me at ease from being at a doctors office. I highly recommend her as an endocrinologist. Dr. Advani is very knowledgeable about other health practices which will enable patients to have a better positive outcome all the way around as a whole person; and not just as a number.

This doctor has no regard for patient/ doctor confidentiality. Appalling

She doesn't listen or answer questions. She's condescending and rushes you through the appointment. Her main goal is to sell you her expensive supplements.

I could not be any happier with Dr. Advani. She quite literally saved my life. After being released from the hospital from a two week stay to treat meningitis, I started to feel terrible again. My heart was racing, I was confused, dizzy and weak. I couldn't eat. I was getting worse each day. Her office recognized the seriousness of my situation and arranged for me to speak with Dr Advani that same day. She looked over my records, and by the time I spoke with her, she already had a plan and just as she promised within 24 hrs I was on the road to feeling better. She has been patient and thorough with questions from both myself and my husband. I can not recommend her highly enough.

I greatly appreciate that Dr. Advani is an excellent holistic doctor. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in my hips. Other doctors had recommended I take drugs with serious side-effects. She reviewed my bone density tests like no other doctor I had been to before. I have a mild case and she prescribed supplements and certain types of exercises to strengthen my bones. As a result, my last bone density test showed stability and even some growth. The thing that most impressed me was that during my intake interview, she identified a stomach issue I didn't realize I had. She sent me for blood work and sure enough I am gluten sensitive. She prescribed a gluten-free diet and supplements, which stopped the acid reflux I was having. I also find the office staff very competent, patient and friendly. I recommend her highly.

I went to Sonoo (I will not call her Dr. Advani) a few times for a few issues such as fatigue, weight problems, and joint pain. I was diagnosed with low testosterone and given treatment, but it did not do very much. Last month I had a Teleconference with Sonoo. A few days prior, I went for bloodwork at her request and then called her office to book an appointment. The staff told me that the results should be ready in 3 - 4 days so I booked for a few days after. When I got on the conference call, I told Sonoo I wasn't feeling well and she snapped that I should be glad that I don't have Cornoavirus. She said that she was exhausted from being on the front lines of fighting the disease. I reiterated that I was simply giving an honest report of what I was experiencing and she sarcastically suggested that I find a new doctor since I was making her office look bad. She immediately launched into a series of questions regarding Coronavirus symptoms (which I couldn't understand because it has… nothing to do with endocrinology). Sonoo then went to look at my blood results and immediately starting literally screaming that it takes 10 days for results to be delivered, not 3. I burst out that her staff had told me themselves that this was not the case and she exclaimed, "EVERYBODY knows that it takes 10 days!" After that, she said she would call me back when the results arrived. I felt compelled to defend myself since the staff had told me 3 or 4 days would be fine and not 10. So I calmly started to explain this and she interrupted me by roaring, "IN A WORLD WHERE PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES, I HAVE NO TIME TO SIT HERE DISCUSSING OFFICE POLICY!" Then she hung up. Two weeks later, I went to another endocrinologist who patiently performed a very in-depth analysis and advised that my symptoms sounded more like a sleep issue than endocrinology. At her suggestion, I saw a sleep specialist who revealed I do in fact have a sleeping disorder. As for Sonoo who never had the time to really do anything in-depth with me, I called her office and asked if she is really helping Coronavirus patients as she had mentioned. They were confused and said no. No other doctor, including the one who recommended me to her, has been able to figure out her reasoning or why blasted me as she did. I am planning to talk to a lawyer.

SHe literally says things like she doesn't make enough money. She is rude and has no care about how you are feeling . She has lost her mind.

Excelleent and caring, found my parathyroid problem, won battles with insurance company and got me the care i needed highly reccommended

Dr. Sonoo Advani is an excellent and extremely caring physician. She took the time to explain my bloodwork and thyroid scan in-depth during my visit. She answered my questions and addressed my concerns giving me peace of mind. I whole heartedly recommend her as an Integrative Endocrinologist who uses evidenced based adjuncts to improve health as well.

Spends very little time with patient. Can be very abrupt. Office personnel not friendly.
