Dr Rachala listens intently to his patients as if he sees into your soul. He is highly professional, easy to speak to and explains thoroughly. He sincerely and genuinely cares for each patient and appointments are never rushed.

I went to see Dr. Rachala after I was T-boned at work and had a bad left hip socket. I was in constant pain and limping for 7 years. Hi staff didn't answer the phones till 11, and I worked the overnight shift, so I had to stay up past my bedtime to make an appointment, but his website said they opened at 8.... very much not true. They only do comp injections on Tuesdays, in the Harlem office... so I had to take a day off work every 3 months When I had finally had enough pain and begged him to replace my hip, and he looked me in the face and said "Lose 100 lbs and talk to me." I lost 120 just so I could fire him and I went to Dr. Anders for my surgery. Fatphobic j erk should not be allowed anywhere near patients. He has no compassion for fat people. He's only concerned with needing to do a revision surgery later. Mother ^%/$:; I was in enough pain that it was kill myself or lose the weight. Thanks for the mental health crisis, $&*$/&;. Quality of life is a thing. I have a life… now that I'm not in constant pain, no thanks to you.

Dr. Rachala has given me back my life! I can't thank him enough for the surgery he performed on me.

My left hip started in 1972, so I have a long history of pain and distruction of the hip, not to mention dislocation since around 1996. I had my doubts the replacement and leg length could be reset. Dr. Rachala did what I thought would never happen! I'm doing things I have not been able to do since the mid 70's. After 3 doctor's told me they could not fix it, Dr. Rachala came through for me. :)

Dr. Rachala is the real deal! He is highly skilled and competent and as an added bonus he cares about his patients. He takes the time to thoroughly discuss your issue and possible solutions and engages you to make sure you both understand and are comfortable. If my other knee needs to be replaced Dr. Rachala and his team will be my first call!

Dr Rachala and his resident were extremely efficient, thorough in assessment and explanation of knee problems. My decision to decline surgery accepted and future will be monitored as needed. I did not wait for more than 5 minutes to be seen. Service prompt and office extremely efficient. Patient needs anticipated. I did not wait more than a couple minutes between registration, xrays, assessments by both Dr's, treatment and discharge.

I am very pleased with Dr Rachael because he is very positive and polite and care about his patients My primary Dr said he did a good job on my knee I am blessed and happy ??

After a failed surgery to reattach my quadriceps's tendon by my previous surgeon (things happen), Dr. Rachala did a total reconstruction of my quadricep's. He spent all the time necessary to explain my situation, the probable outcome if all went well and what my post op rehab would entail. He also was very firm on what i should and should not do during my recovery. While not back to "God's design" I can walk, play golf and ride my bike! Happy with the outcome for sure. Bottom line, if needed would he be my Ortho guy? You bet!

Developed infection within my TKR within a year of surgery from previous surgeon. Dr. Rachala quickly diagnosed the infection and reacted quickly with corrective surgery. I now feel I am on the road to full recovery.

Dr. was rude uncaring & keeps you waiting for 2+hours. Never looked at my x rays!! His mind was made up about me before he came in the room probably because it’s a comp case!! I have never been treated this terrible by medical staff !!
