Dr. Stanley William Pletcher, MD

I see Dr. Pletcher at Great Lakes Eye Care and I agree he is a wonderful doctor. I have issues with the staff via the phone. When Dr. Pletcher was away for missionary work his replacement sent me to an eye doctor in South Bend and he was great. He performed a procedure on my eye and it lasted 10 months. For my yearly check up this year, Dr. Pletcher informed me that they could do the same thing at Great Lakes. I did it. It didn't last a month. When I called to ask if it was possible to have the office call the dr in South Bend to get the dosage I was told no. That it was unusual for the procedure to last more than 2 months and I just needed to tell Dr. Pletcher it didn't last a month. I asked again, since they referred me to him if they could call to get the dosage so we could try that dosage the next time I come in. No -- just tell Dr. Pletcher before he does anything that it didn't last. I admit I am going to try it again but if it doesn't last more than "2 months" I'm… going back to the dr in South Bend. I wanted to stick with Great Lakes for convenience. I'm very disappointed in the staff (phone staff).

You could not find a better eye doctor than Dr. Pletcher! I would not have anyone else touch my eyes.
