Dr Stella Kim is one of the kindest, most decent persons I have met in any profession. Before she left M. D. Anderson, she removed a 'terigium' from my left eye and later removed cataracts from both eyes. Both procedures went off flawlessly and left me with the best vision I have experienced in years. She also surrounded herself with the best assistants complementing her talents that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They were all as competent and caring as I could have wished for. I consider them 'trusted friends' I am happy that I found this site so I can involve her in my future eye care and let her and her assistants know how much they improved my life and how much I miss and care for them.. Dr. Kim is very kind and gentle with her patients, but she slays demons with her scalpel. I met her when I was sent to Houston for treatment of conjunctival melanoma 13 years ago. It took three surgeries, lots of horrible chemo eyedrops, and multiple followups, but I still have my eye with 20/40 vision. And I still travel to Houston for followup visits.

I can't think of a single thing that would make her overall practice better.

Dr. Stella Kim has provided great care and concern for my thinning corneas. I would highly recommend her for anyone dealing with corneal disease.

I have been her patient for the past 4 years. She has treated my eye problem on the average of every other month as there is no cure. She was wise and went to Philadelphia to discuss my problem with 17 other doctors as it is a rare condition. We moved to another state and I have been to 3 doctors here and they could not do or want to do anything to the eye. I called Dr. Kim and she come back in and she took care of the problem. I have to drive to Houston every 6 -8 weeks for her to do the procedure but it is well worth the 8 hr. drive. She is the best in my opinion. Thank you Dr. Kim for saving my eye.

A very good doctor who strikes the balance between being direct with being warm and attentive to what I am saying and how I am answering her questions. She has kept track of my eyes for three years and recently did cataract surgery on both of my eyes with very good results for both eyes. The staff of the clinic is very effective and keep things moving in a professional manner. I highly recommend her and she is to be trusted with the most complex eye problems having worked at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for a set of years.

Dr. Kim is an amazing doctor. Her bubbly personality and encouraging attitude make every patient feel at ease. Her expertise is impressive and I always left my visit with her well informed. Dr. Kim has truly been a blessing in my life and I will be forever grateful.
