Dr. Stephan Pavlos, MD

I saw Dr. Pavlos for a leaky mitrial valve. Ignored it and developed Afib. He prescribe Xarelto. Ignored my condition and eight years later I have had open heart surgery to repair the leaky valve, defib-pacemaker installed and have been told that my heart is only working at 28%. In 2016 I found out thru the TV. that Xarelto is not to be given to people who develop afib caused by a leaky valve. Tried to settle with his lawyers, they held it and now other lawyers say time limits have expired.

Dr. Pavlos is condescending and rude. He seems not to like to answer too many questions and is always in a bit of a hurry. He missed several things on some testing that were very serious. I think the practice on a whole is declining. The office staff is consistently rude as well. The equipment is far too outdated as well. I am glad I went elsewhere and am getting proper treatment.
