Dr. Stephen Brackbill, MD

I don’t typically take the time to leave reviews because it’s atypical, especially for a doctors office to actually care about your opinion. But in a time where my health has affected my life personally and professionally, when I needed guidance most, my experience with Stephen P. Brackbill was undoubtedly the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I would NEVER recommend him or this office to anyone needing medical care. I can assure you no one in this office went “out of their way” to help me. Stephen P. Brackbill, more or less treated myself as a number and didn’t provide any genuine help. From incomplete notations on my medical records, missing symptoms, and delayed results, this was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. After not finding anything alarming in my procedures, I was told that my symptoms were not severe, and that I was ineligible to qualify for any kind of short term leave out of work in accordance to my symptoms. He then proceeded to state… that maybe I was in the wrong profession and ended our consult. Every time I had a conversation with him, it was like he couldn’t wait to get out of the door. I would not recommend him if he was the last GI doctor on Earth, I would just choose to be sick. This doctor is the epitome of the medical profession and gives every other caring doctor a bad rep. Even though nothing will come of this complaint, your office should consider taking proactive measures against these actions within your organization. I will personally ensure that I steer anyone I know clear of your office and Stephen P. Brackbill. If you want a Doctor to genuinely care about you as a patient and take the necessary time with you, don’t book an appointment with Stephen Brackbill.

Doctor Brackbill was great! He took very good care of me and was polite and respectful to me and my wife. I greatly appreciate the care and concern he showed towards me in his visit with me and my wife before the procedure and after the procedure while I was in recovery. -- I am so Doctor Brackbill was great! My husband and I have both seen Dr. Brackbill for office visits and a colonoscopy (in hospital). He is knowledgeable and attentive with a kind and gentle demeanor. He is a good listener.

My mother saw him this morning for c diff. She is deathly ill and this doc told her to take vancomycin, did some blood work, and told her to come back in three months. My mother contracted s diff while caring for her dying sister. She has been fighting this for nine months. Vancomycin is not working! This so called doctor does not care. She won’t live another three months if he doesn’t attempt another treatment.
