Dr. Stephen Curtis Hammett, DO

I went to Dr Hammett after reading many many positive reviews, and I want to add my voice to say that everything positive you read here is true. He is a great listener, he is thorough, and thinks about your medical situation and suggests appropriate tests or specialists when needed. He is everything you could want in a primary care doctor.

i had to write a review after reading the "stay away" post. Dr Hammett has been my physician for over ten years . He is the best physician you could ever have . i would not trust anyone as much as i trust Dr Hammett. Although, i I feel for anyone who may have had a negative experience, i can tell you with the utmost confidence the person you described negatively could not be Dr. Hammett. he is nothing like you described and i don't want your review to unfairly sway someone's decision to see Dr Hammett. he is truly the best Dr around and i can assure you anyone that sees him will have the same positive experience . since Dr Hammett has been my Dr for 10 years , not one visit, i am more than qualified to give an honest assessment of Dr Hammett.

Dr Hammett always helps us! He refers my husband to great specialists! He helps me a lot , I’ve broken many bones in my life. He listens well.

Ask's the right questions, checks out the chart before coming in to the room. Spends a good amount of time with me. Solid every time.

I have been going to him for years, so has all my family members. He has kept my 88 yr. old mother-in-law alive and she has multiple issues. I would not go any where else. Thanks alot!!! Joe

Wish there were more doctors like Dr. Hammett...doctors with compassion that care about more than money.

Dr. Hammett has been my doctor for over ten years and I pray he never leaves the area and that he is in practice as long as I am on this earth. I cannot image seeing another doctor. Doctor Hammett - and the entire Honor Health staff - truly cares (care) about his (the) patients. Dr. Hammett LISTENS to your concerns and of he can't figure out what is going on, he does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist that can help you. I highly - and OFTEN - recommend Dr. Hammett to friends, family and anyone I speak to in need of medical care. I read the "Stay Away" review. I have no idea what happened there but I am telling you, I have been seeing Dr. Hammett for over 10 YEARS! Dr. Hammett's bottom line is his care and concern for his patients well being. Dr. Hammett's bottom line is NOT money. My only regret with Dr. Hammett is that he is not an orthopedic surgeon. ....now that's a group of doctors who only care about the money and can't be bothered to even listen to… their patients. In closing, Dr. Hammetts INTEGRITY and COMPASSION make him a gem in today's society. Dr. Hammett is Simply the Best Doctor!!!!

Dr Hammett is an excellent doctor. I've been a patient of his for 5 years. He's easy to talk to, spends time with you and listens to what you have to say. His diagnosis has always been correct. I'd highly recommend him

Dr. Hammett and all of his staff truly care.... They go out of there way to provide immediate help and assistance. They truly care! They have the Small town atmosphere and treat each patient as if they are the only one!

It is my opinion that this Doc is only there for bottom line not you. If you are seriously ill seek someone with compassion.This is just an opinion on a life altering experience with this Doc. Don't put your life in his hands. If the money Isn't there your dead!!!Or if your hurt his feelings he will retaliate against you and any other patients that are family.Just my take from my experience. He was my Doc For over 18 months.He left me to die because of a disagreement.I had to seek ER care to survive!!!Like I said just my experience I can't speak for others, this is my opinion!!
