Excellent Doctor

Dr. Vick is very talented in the OR and we are greatful for his skill set! People complain about long wait times but I can say he is worth the wait! Thankful for caring and down to earth Doctors like him.

I can’t say enough about dr Vick. I was reluctant to have lypotripsy afraid I’d need it again but dr Vick did a wonderful job. You can tell he cares about his patients and I can say I’m stone free except for one small one but dr Vick said we’d wait and let me pass it. I would deafanately recommend dr Vick excellent urologist!

Doctor Vick is excellent as a urologist and a great doctor in general I had an 8mm kidney stone that was obstructing my ureter he did the Lithotripsy twice because the first round left a 6mm fragment he was very kind and considerate he explained everything very well and made sure I understood. Most importantly to me was the fact that he was compassionate regarding my severe pain he didnt hesitate to prescribe strong pain meds and in this day and age its almost impossible to find a doctor who is caring and compassionate about the patient's pain. I understand that there is an opiate epidemic and doctors have to be careful about giving pain meds but a lot of doctors use that as an excuse to not treat your pain so I was very pleased to find that doctor Vick wasnt one of those doctors. If you have urological problems go see him I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. STEVEN VICK FOR ANYONE WITH KIDNEY STONE OR ANY UROLOGICAL PROBLEMS.

I recently stopped seeing Dr. Vick and moved to another Urologist. During my three most recent visits I wasn't seen until between 1 and 1.5 hours after my appointment time. If Dr. Vick doesn't have more respect for his patient’s time than this and can’t manage his own schedule better he likely will not mind if he loses a few patients.

When I walked in the office I saw a sign on the counter saying how far behind Dr Vick was. I have several serious health problems and am on O2. I asked if they had a medical records and online system and phone app that my other doctors and I could access. She told me the doctors had met and decided they were not going to get involved with computer systems. I looked back at the sign that said how far behind he is. I checked my O2 supply. The receptionist directed me to one of two waiting rooms. They were both packed with men women children and babies in strollers. I walked into one. It was dank with exhausted looking people. I left. A great doctor, a former surgeons general told me once that "if a doctor is not accessible to his patients, he was of little value to his patients."

I think it was cool and awesome.

First of all, it took over a month to get an appointment. I arrived to the 3:00 appointment at 2:30 so I could fill out the paperwork. I then was brought to a waiting room a stayed there for over 1.5 hours to find out I still had another hour wait. Of course the excuse is always "he got caught up in surgery" what is the use in making appointments. I had to take half a day off work to waste my time. I am looking for a competent doctor that doesn't have a sign on the front desk stating how far behind he is. Wish I would have seen it upon signing in.

This guy should have his lic pulled. He left a patient in the hospital for 3 days without seeing him. He nor anyone from his group checked on a patient who was admitted to OLOL with a severe bladder infection that turned septic and almost died. The patient suffered for 15 hours before given an antispasmodic that didnt work and then had to wait for another hour for pain medicine that did very little for the pain. It seems to me he could have seen that patient somewhere in the first several hours of his suffering before it reached anything near 15 hours PLUS of suffering
