Dr. Steven Russell Boas, MD

" we were not told that we were getting a change when we called back (5 minutes later!) and not asked for a reason, if one was necessary they should have asked - we had a valid reason. And, this was a follow up after several other follow up appointments we were under no obligation to go to the office again unless we felt it was necessary. I have been seeing Dr. Boas for 15+ years for my Cystic Fibrosis. His approach and care is second to none. He is always working to better my health, has my best interest at heart, willing to go above and beyond, and will advocate for me no matter what. Seeing Dr. Boas is more than seeing my doctor, it's like seeing family.

Dr. Boas is simply the best. Best knowledge, best bedside, best follow up.

Dr. Boas was extremely knowledgable and gave us a lot of time answering all our questions. He was caring and we were extremely satisfied with our experience at Dr. Steven Boas's office.

Expect to be there a couple of hours. However, Dr and staff great with the kids and takes time to answer all your questions.

I would recommend this doctor. He was very thorough , knowledgable and pleasant.

This doctor is more concerned about making money and being sued than about his patients. He is so arrogant that he will keep his patients waiting hours to see him.

I started seeing Dr. Boas as a teenager at Children's Memorial Hospital. I then travelled quite a distance to see him in his Glenview office as a young adult even. During my years in the university I did a lot of travel in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and on SEVERAL occasions I called Dr. Boas desperate because I could not find a doctor that understood the medicine that I needed for acute episodes of asthma and a chronic bronchial condition. I honestly felt so scared, and he was always there at terrible times and weekends to talk with a foreign pharmacy to get me the medicine I needed. At that point I was not even a regular patient anymore. He cares about his patients. He treats patients like family. I will be forever grateful to this doctor.

Dr. Boas came in on a Saturday specially to see my Son. He spent the time needed to help make sure my son was taken care of. I really appreciate his expertise, his time, and his willingness to always go the extra mile to make sure my son is taken care of.

Best doctor - caring, compassionate, bedside, passionate, realistic and respectful! My family is lucky to have him.
