Dr. Steven Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is a talented surgeon. I am a 55-year-old, white, male, who had bilateral blepharoplasty in the summer of 2024. The results look natural and I am very happy. The office staff were not overly friendly, but they were fine. The surgery center was orderly and professional. I had no pain during surgery and the recovery was as expected. I would recommend Dr. Steven Chen.

I always want to believe the best about a doctor. Patients have high expectations and doctors have a great investment as a high level specialist. I had a pretty good result with a little complication with Dr Chen but if you question his opinions he tries to debase you and just up and walks out. He's lacking in understanding, compassion and communication skills. None of his office staff are pleasant or make you feel valued as a patient. The attitude that prevails is I just work here like they're doing you a favor. It left me with the feeling did I do something wrong as a patient when I didn't.

Do NOT let anyone touch your eyelids but Dr Chen. Whether cosmetic or medically necessary. He was referred by my trusted dermatologist. Dr. Chen performed the biopsy on my eyelid next to my eye. After the dermatologist performed MOHS of the eyelid, Dr. Chen reconstructed. Even my ophthalmologist was amazed after it had fully healed.

Dr. Chen fixed both my upper and lower eyelids and I'm very happy with the results. He is personable and professional.

Dr. Chen and his staff are awesome. They listened to my concerns regarding my droopy eyelids and proceeded with skill and compassion to resolving the issue. No more carrying a Kleenex with me everywhere I go because my eyes don’t tear up and then drip and drain down my face anymore. I wish I would have gone to Dr. Chen sooner for relief.
