Dr. Steven Brent Cherrington, DO

Like many others I’ve had bad experiences dealing with this doc. He’s arrogant and you can find a much more thoughtful doctor at any other office in Utah county.

He blew up in my face when I asked for more information about the treatment he was prescribing. It turned into a one-sided shouting match. Needless to say I was completely shellshocked. I wasn't prepared for that sort of response to a simple question.

I have been seeing Dr. Charrington for awhile now. He has always had an arrogance about him, but I just tried to ignore it. I need a Dr to fill my prescriptions. I had a form for him to fill out. Simple right? Nope, he never fills it out correctly so I have to keep bring another form in for him to fill out. Today when he saw that I had another form for him to correctly fill out he lost it. I thought it was a joke at first, but he was serious. He told me he was done, no more. Things escalated to the point where I started to cry and he gets a weird smile on his face and says "yes, this is good to see!" When I asked for his managers name he refused and said "I AM the boss!! I own this place!" He eventually filled out the form if I promised to go to a different doctor. I agreed. Obviously I never want to see this man again. Then when he was giving me the form he told me he could always change his answer on the form from yes to no. Just to be spiteful.

The worst doctor I have ever seen! All he cares about is money and how fast he can get you out of his office! Don’t go see him! I promise I have been to plenty of doctors and I have never experienced what I did with him! What a joke

I have worked in a doctors office for 30 years as a nurse. I would have never believed it had I not been there to see it myself. This man should not be practicing. You never question his treatment because he is always right (narcissist) If you do question it, he starts to insult you and tries to humiliate you and make you feel worthless. He likes to threaten you saying he won’t call your refills on your medications even though he knows you can’t live without it. He went from normal to rage in zero seconds (bipolar). It looks like this is a reoccurring problem with him after reading several reviews about him. I wish we had read the reviews before we submitted ourselves to his abuse!!

This so called “doctor” is literally the worst I have ever seen. I have been seeing him for a while just trying to ignore how arrogant and rude he is but on this last visit I told him that the meds were making me severely depressed and he wasn’t having it because he knew he was wrong but still kept giving me meds! He through my mental disorder in my face and threatened to not prescribe me my medication that I NEED or I will be super sick. My mom was with me too and was literally in shock with how incredibly rude and unprofessional he was! Do not go to this doctor! He’s only in it for the money!!

Very personal, very understanding

He was the bomb with my C Section. Least pain ever and after surgery recooperation. (I've had 4). Also, he is very kind and knowledgeable.

He couldn't wait to get me out of there. He is so rude!

Dr. Cherrington was an awesome OBGYN. He was leaving out of town before my baby girl was due. He did everything in his power to make sure he was able to deliver her instead of putting me in a new dr's hands. He was personable and I wish he was still delivering babies so he could deliver my future kids. He's great!
