Dr Kushnick was very professional and Down to earth. I was treated very nicely

The septoplasty operation was not successful, and my septum has become just as deviated as it was before the surgery. It honestly might be worse. My rating of 2 stars comes from the fact that he didn't inform me of the potential for failure, and if I had known, I would have paid out of pocket for a top notch surgeon. I am now on the hunt for a surgeon who can solve this for good.

I saw this doctor because he was located in the practice I used to go to in order to see my primary physician. I experienced discomfort in my ear and my primary physician diagnosed impacted ear wax and referred me to him to have it removed. This should be a routine procedure, but he used a sharp instrument that caused some pain. The next day, I woke up with my ears clogged with fluid and I went to another doctor who told me that my ears were filled with blood, and that this doctor had done damage with the instrument he used. The new doctor suctioned the blood and gave me drops to put in my ear for 2 weeks. Needless to say, I went to the other doctor the next time I had impacted ear wax that needed to be removed, and she used a small vacuum to remove it without using any sharp instruments. There was no pain and no fluid. Unfortunately I have relocated, but I went to another doctor last week and he did the same thing, vacuumed the wax and removed it within about 10 minutes. I… would strongly suggest avoiding Dr. Kushnik!!

This doctor does not even have a Medical History Form for patients to complete, but spends no more than 30 seconds writing on a blank page. The reason for my visit was tonsillitis and "supposedly" consulation for performing tonsillectomy. The conversation lasted 2 minutes total. He said to come back when the infection was really, really bad, and that he needed to see few of these extreme cases to carry on the conversation. Then he left. The little old office in which I was seen does not make one feel the safest... looks dirty and not well taken care of. Definitely, would not recommend to anyone. He is not helpful at all, and lacks people skills.

Normally I don't take the time to post comments, but I was appalled by the abrasiveness, rudeness and insensitivity of this doctor. Dr.Kushnick handled me in a rough manner without providing an adequate explanation of his procedures. As a matter of fact he didn't even ask me if he had permission to perform a particular procedure on me which caused me to have discomfort after the anesthesia wore off. I wasn't prepared for the pain that came later because he didnt explain what to expect. He displayed a lack of empathy and compassion regarding my health concerns. His diagnosis of my problem was incorrect and inconsistent with that of prior doctors I was treated by. In addition, he had an obnoxious rude personality and his office was dirty.

I agree with the misdiagnosis post- HE DOES NOT DIAGNOSE THINGS CORRECTLY, HE'D RATHER HAVE YOU OUT OF HIS OFFICE!DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR UNLESS YOU WANT TO REMAIN CHRONICALLY SICK!

I had a hoarse voice and sinus headaches and congestion for months...I went to Dr. Kushnick and he never put the hose completely down my nasal passages into my throat. He looked in my nose and said my passages were swollen and gave me nasal spray. 3 months later, I go back in agony due to vertigo and sinus headaches and he does the same procedure- and again, does not put the hose all the way into my nose, only in my nasal passages but never looking down into my throat. He said I have no infection and sent me along to a CT scan to rule out sinusitis. I became bedridden as the CT scan was clear. I finally saw an allergist and THE ALLERGIST FIGURED OUT I HAD SINUISTIS AND INFECTED ADNOIDS WITH A CYST. I finally have some relief on antibiotics but DO NOT GO TO DR. KUSHNICK. HE BLOWS YOU OFF AND MISDIAGNOSES- NOT THOROUGH AT ALL. HE SHOULD JUST GO TAKE HIS KIDS TO SOCCER AND STOP PRACTICING MEDICINE.
