I have worked with Dr. Streit for almost 6 years treating both lyme disease and an associated hypo thyroid condition. Before Dr Streit was recommended to me by a friend, i had tried other doctors who were not able to correctly diagnose my lyme disease. Using the combination of a specialized Igenix blood test, a thorough evaluation of my symptoms and his professional experience during our consultation, Dr Streit was able to identify that i did indeed have lyme disease and to begin treatment. I took an active role throughout the treatment process, asking many questions about the medications and my progress. Dr Streit was very collaborative and explained further the details of the treatment. He was always available for any calls with questions between appointments if i needed anything. Dr Streit was truly a godsend- he helped me unravel this rvery complicated, tricky disease. I hihgly recommend Dr Streit and have sent numerous friends and even my mother to him for treatment. I owe my life to Dr. Streit. I don't know where I would be without the incredible knowledge, patience, and caring of this Dr. He is the premiere expert on Lyme disease and tick-borne illnesses and unless Lyme is treated immediately you cant get well from Lyme disease unless you see a Lyme literate Dr. like Dr. Streit. Other Dr's will take you off of the antibiotics before you are well which is the worst thing to do. I have gone from hardly being able to walk or get out of bed to now exercising and being almost symptom free. Dr. Streit saved my life.

I was a patient of Dr. Streit's when I was initially diagnosed as a high schooler in 2002. After months of inconclusive results and basically told to suck it up by other medical "professionals" I was referred to Dr. Streit for treatment of Lyme. He spent ample time assessing me and getting prior medical history and with testing he informed me that the severity of my symptoms was due to two coinfections, something had not been mentioned to me prior. I saw him for years and he was a comprehensive and compassionate practioner. His office was run very well, organized and efficient. I refer everybody to Dr. Streit, in my opinion he is the absolute BEST!

Doctor seems nice but doesn't take time to answer questions or offer much support outside of visits. Hard to say if he can help me, still to early to tell.
